The Google Glass prototype has been released to developers in the UK for £1000.

There have been mixed reactions to the technology, some companies being wary of it such as Vue [cinema chain], gyms and Starbucks/Costa [coffee franchises]. Other companies are relaxed about it, some seemingly not that bothered about it, while British Airways is treating them like phones (i.e. allowed but in flight safety mode) and Tesco [supermarket chain] has already developed a concept app for it.
