The Antidron KVS G-6 is manufactured by Kvertus Technology, in the western Ukraine region of Ivano-Frankivsk, whose capital of the same name has twice been subjected to Russian bombings during the war. Like other drone-dropping equipment, we're told it uses radio signals to interrupt control, remotely disabling them, and it reportedly has an impressive 3.5 km (2.17 miles) range.
Sounds like just the thing if one is worried about Amazon or Walmart drones not just making deliveries but spying on your backyard.

It might look like a rifle, but it's actually a radio frequency jammer. Why call it a rifle? Beats me.
Conceptually it sounds a little bit like the pocket sized defensive gadget that a friend takes to restaurants. If there is TV sound that is interrupting conversation at his table, he uses his remote to unobtrusively mute it. I guess it emits a series of different signals (IR, probably) that cover the mute commands for a wide variety of TVs.

The world is very different today than it was in WWII. First, the name and approximate location revealed in the story may be misdirection - as may also be the capabilities, or even existence of such a rifle. Or, it may all be true, and moot, since they know that Russia already knows all about it. If the asset is truly valuable, there should be multiple locations manufacturing it, and also "dummy factories" setup to look like they're manufacturing it but really low-cost decoys set as traps to drain invaders' resources chasing ghosts, possibly booby trapped ghosts.
Dropping one drone out of the sky is not a major accomplishment. Dropping them for less cost than manufacturing them is the real battle - and remember to account for deployment, tracking, etc. in those costs.

I take it you didn't watch the video? It does not appear to be being produced in multiple locations. And if you don't think that intelligence and information collection have a role to play in any war you should ask yourself what the drones are being used for. If this weapon proves to cause problems for Russian drones you can bet your last dollar that somebody will be looking for the site where they are manufactured.

Again, they could be rubes just giving their location away, but the fact that the video is produced in a single location has absolutely zero correlation with the number of locations the device is being produced.
If it were my operation, I'd produce the video - possibly with future timestamps during recording - then relocate operations somewhere secure, then release the video as if it were made yesterday - possibly after setting trap in the location where the video was produced.

This is a country where many have relatives in Russia, some speak Russian as their first language, and many were born in the USSR. It would be surprising if Russia didn't have a number of agents/sympathizers there. I think we can probably assume that Russia potentially knows a great deal about what is going on (even if no one dares to tell Putin some of it).
