Conservative firebrand Milo Yiannopoulos received big-name support on Wednesday for reversing his lifetime Twitter ban: Minecraft creator Markus Persson.

Twitter froze Mr. Yiannopoulos' account on Tuesday after barbed exchanges with "Ghostbusters" star Leslie Jones. The Breitbart News tech editor seemingly was banned for the racist comments made by other users. Mr. Persson told his nearly 4 million followers that Twitter's actions were absurd.

"I think the guy's a bit of a [expletive], but for the love of Christ, #FreeMilo," the video game icon said Wednesday morning. "If/when I get suspended too, check http://notch.net. I've reported tweets worse than anything (well.. almost) Nero's ever said, and the reply is always the same: Nope."

If you invoke financial inequality then you should also acknowledge that the pressure on men to financially be able to support their family has increased and not decreased. It was far far easier to live off-the-gride or independent of the system, say, 100 years ago than now. In fact, even 50 years ago you could start as a dishwasher and end-up in upper management and not think of it as extra-ordinary.

The dishwasher to upper management thing is largely a myth. I mean, it's possible, even today, but in practice you have to be extremely lucky and exceptionally talented (perhaps at self promotion rather than the job) to stand any chance of it happening.

This is the American Dream (TM), the lie they use to keep you voting and campaigning against your self interest.

Objectively, there is now less pressure on men to be providers. Back in the 50s the ideal family was a man who worked, a woman who looked after the house and a couple of kids. The pressure to conform to that was considerable. In the 60s women were liberated, and broke out of that mould. Now we are seeing a small minority of men wanting to go back to that model, because they want a clearly defined role to fulfil and pressure on women to marry them despite being otherwise unattractive and to serve them sexually. They feel that under the old model women were so desperate to fulfil the housewife role that it was easier for below average men like themselves to achieve a "good life", which is defined as an attractive wife who gets dinner ready for them and a continuation of their genetic line.

Of course, there is little realistic prospect of forcing women to adopt that subservient role these days, and morally no-one should want that anyway. What men need now is liberation, the same as women had in the 60s. Abandon those old, out-dated ideas of masculinity and what the ideal man is, and instead realize that self-fulfilment and meaningful relationships are the important things in life. Abandon that toxic masculinity, the constant fear that another alpha male will make you their bitch, and the pressure to fit unrealistic stereotypes.

      First of all

Talk about yourself, don't hide behind "we".

Objectively, there is now less pressure on men to be providers.

Yep, you haven't listened to men all your life because you have always competed with them and now your espousing feminist rhetoric to look like you give a damn about women's issues.

Rest of your post is just giant bull crap that is best ignored.

One hint: Any Right's Movement, by definition, is anti-conservative.

Lemme guess: you're a real all-american "Meat-n-Potatoes" manly man who loves incinerating meat on a grill, watches sports while drinking a 'brewski' and looking at hot ladies? The world would also be a better place if everyone just got some common sense and thought & acted exactly like you?

        amirite?
