Everyone knows we need more sequels of classic films, no-one more so than Hollywood. Look at how well they've done in the past, Highlander, The Fly, Wall Street, Jurassic Park, Carrie, Fletch, Teen Wolf, Robocop, The Hangover, mo sequels, mo sequels!

Wait, there was a remake of total recall? Let me guess, they added a comedic sidekick for Douglass to chill with named "jar-jar". F this world.

I really enjoyed the original Blade Runner and I worry about what they call a sequel as opposed to remake. Either way its probably going to suck. My guess is it'll be all pozzed up with the leading alpha male fighter being a petite chick and at least half the cast being gay or trans because that's whats required in hollywood in the current year. Is there anyone in western civilization who's not cheered on Leon after sitting thru a HR job interview? Go Leon go! F this world times two.

I hope I'm pleasantly surprised by it not sucking.

I immediately rescind this comment, as the example refutes itself. Great works of art often engender derivative works of great value, through careful reconsideration of the themes that made the original so good. Shakespeare has been processed in countless ways, sometimes resulting great new works. May the same be said in this case*.
