from the Bond.-James-Bond. dept.

Not much to say, other than Moore was the first Bond I came to know, and as such, is the first face I think of when I think of the Bond Character.

In remembrance, what was your favourite role that Moore played over the years, Bond or otherwise?

    Murders people. ...e.g., JFK.
Attempts (and often succeeds at) regime change--and, in the process, murders people.

This is in contrast to the original charter for that outfit which said that they were to aggregate and analyze intel from other agencies. FULL STOP.

Harry Truman said that the greatest regret of his life was chartering CIA.

[it's] interesting to watch special effects

I liked the car that jumped the river and did a roll in the process. [google.com]

Yup on the big scale. On the small scale its almost worse, very few in the CIA do the "James Bond" stuff its mostly sitting in cubicles trying to figure impossible stuff out. So not wanting to sit in a cube all day and ponder, I got a job in IT where I ... sit in a cubicle and ponder impossible tasks. Eh whatever.
