    Under the Conservatives, we've suffered the worst terror attacks since 1320, and all they seem to be able to do about it is to lock the greenhouse door after the cabbages have bolted

    It was on a similar scale to previous attacks by the (American sponsored) IRA, (except no horses were killed) - about which all that was done was to put some chicanes in the roads where traffic enters "the square mile" - so that
    police/CCTV gets time to read number plates and view faces.

    You'd have to be as crazy as a suicide bomber to think that armed police and soldiers on the street do anything more than increase the risk of innocent bystanders being shot (and taxes).

    You'd have to be as crazy as a suicide bomber to think that armed police and soldiers on the street do anything more than increase the risk of innocent bystanders being shot (and taxes).

    They should admit their government cannot and absolutely will not defend them, and react by converting to Islam, and do the left wing entryist thing they're so good at and F that religion up from the inside.
