The animated graphic from NPR shows how the economy has changed over time. Interesting how jobs have shifted from production to services and distribution. "Peak Secretary" seems to have occurred in the mid 80's.

    Don't forget vocational like dump, mixer, trash, roll off (dumpsters or skips). Then you have a lot of heavy haul/riggers who move around equipment and machinery such as front loaders, excavators, asphalt mills, and other heavy goods like transformers, jet engines, etc. Then throw in tow trucks and everything else.
