Gay women tend to be exclusively sexually attracted to women, while straight women are more likely to be aroused by both sexes, a study says.

Researchers asked 345 women about their sexual preferences and compared these with their arousal levels when shown videos of attractive men and women.

They found 28% of straight women were mostly aroused by their preferred sex, compared with 68% of gay women.

The University of Essex study concluded that no woman is "totally straight".

I am not normally attracted to other women, but given the right woman in the right circumstance… I have made many innuendos at bars. I even had the hots for one of my apprentices. I do not think these relationships would result in happiness, however, so I did not pursue them.

I even confused a trans man I know when I was in pursuit of another trans man, but that went horribly wrong. We reconciled, a few years later. Well, I reconciled with the one, given that he is the #0 ranked Amazon. (I perhaps should not reveal this, but what the hell, this world is coming to an end.) The other one, I'm not so sure about. I hope his franchise does well.

Let that stand out there as a data point.

I have yet to meet a woman that wouldn't be attracted if the woman was smoking hot, hell my wife is as straight as they come but will still drool at Salma Hayek doing the dance in From Dusk 'til Dawn so this surprises me not at all.

I think this doesn't affect guys because we are pretty much hardwired to compete and see fellow males as a threat, after all throughout the animal kingdom the males have to compete for mates and the losers have their line die out whereas with females there isn't a constant struggle so this isn't an issue.

Heh, of course this all plays in to the Amazon reproduction ritual. Fuck reproduction rituals, we're talking about fun here! She does not even need to be smoking hot! I'd consider the #0 ranked Amazon to be butt ugly compared to me! Heh, that's just baiting you guys. TPP, TTIP, and TISA are coming. Expect the worse.

Otherwise, you are correct, given normal circumstances. These, however, are extraordinary.

Perhaps after my second time through the year from hell, I might finally indulge myself.

Your point about how males see other males should be modded up in unto itself—given the SJWs, and how this hacks them…

Perhaps it should also be modded down. I don't know. I blew all my mod points in soaking orgasm. Eh, I'm just trying to be provocative.

Maybe, but seeing as how there have been well-documented societies where male-male sex was common (e.g. ancient Greece), I think we need to at least question that idea that it's "hardwired". And the animal kingdom? Male apes have been shown to get it on with each other too.

Actually most of Greek culture frowned on actual penetration and considered the one who was penetrated to be the weak one, thus reinforcing what I said. See Plato's writings on the subject for more information.

          That is irrelevant.

We are talking about being aroused and attraction as per the article. NOT penetrative sex or being in a homosexual relationship.

          These are VERY different things.

This is the most confusing post ever. What the heck is the #0 ranked Amazon? Is this something from one of those TV reality shows?

My first thought was some sort of ranking feedback system on Amazon.com, but maybe she means the ugliest member of the tribe of Amazon women?

Not sure whether "#0" is worse or better than "#1" though. Are we talking 0-indexed or 1-indexed? ;)
