The Washington Post reports:

Hollande is expected to put forward a bill this week to extend a state of emergency for three months, enhancing police power to restrict freedom of movement and gatherings at public places.

At Versailles, he also proposed constitutional changes that would allow authorities to withdraw French citizenship from people with dual nationality, even if they were born in France, and to prevent French terrorism suspects from returning to France.

(Emphasis added.)

I feel this would be unproductive; among the problems Europe has long faced is that the children and even grandchildren of immigrants feel unwelcome in the nations of their birth: I understand there are some European countries in which birth does not convey citizenship. President Hollande's proposal would dramatically exacerbate the problem and so give rise to further terrorism.

The time is coming when we of the West may have to reconsider the past indiscriminate immigration without assimilation policies, especially when it comes to Muslims. But I'm going to mostly side with the objections raised. If done in isolation it will amplify the problem. And if you get drug into a long process of picking and choosing, which is darned near impossible, who stays and who goes it will be almost impossible to avoid deep resentments in those remaining as families are sundered. If you are revoking citizenship you damned well better be expelling them, and it had better be in mass, and the two events need to be as close together temporally as humanly possible. Otherwise you have created mortal enemies and have them inside your society, the worst possible outcome. There is zero chance France is anywhere ready for that much harsh reality so they shouldn't be discussing it.

For demographic reasons you have to be open to the idea of the whites being kicked out like Zimbabwe or South Africa. Where will the white minority of France go, Germany? Ovens? When the Louvre is burned down to build a mosque on the site is there a plan to rescue the paintings first?

Just saying that "everyone" benefits by the UN setting up some kind of rule of law or minimum standard of behavior. Pretending demographic replacement or ethnic cleansing doesn't happen because it shouldn't, pragmatically historically seems to result in it maximizing brutality and savagery.

Note that its possible to ethnically cleanse and demographically and culturally replace a population in a mostly civilized manner. Look at the former parts of the USA that are Spanish speaking Hispanic areas, basically central and south america transplanted as if by magic. They are not US citizens and do not hold US values or US political beliefs and do not hold US beliefs in general, they are foreigners living on land we gave up to them. However, note there were no pyramids of white heads, no ovens full of white people, no death marches. And we didn't kill 1M of them in a battle before they successfully invaded, it was militarily completely peaceful. Despite all the mostly accurate shit talk about the USA being a 3rd world hell hole, much like a blind dog occasionally finding a bone we do get some things right once in a while, and the rest of the world could benefit a hell of a lot by emulating post 1900 USA style ethnic cleansing. (Emphasis on post-1900, perhaps its our vast experience ethnically cleansing the native americans pre-1900 that drove us to find a more civilized way to do cultural and demographic replacement) Believe it or not, you dumb ignorant foreign savages, you can ethnically cleanse an area, say a county in Florida or Texas, without stabbing combat knives into everything civilian that moves. USA finally got something right, pay some damn attention to it.

Would you care to be specific about what geographical areas you are talking about? I'm a white guy, grew up in Michigan, the heart of white, Wonderbread-eating America. For the last couple of decades I have been living in the American Southwest. For over a decade I lived in Tucson, AZ. Currently I live in Albuquerque, NM. I can assure you that, while the Southwest is culturally distinct from the Midwest, we are very much patriotic Americans here, living our lives according to American values. It's possible I have misunderstood your meaning, so that is why I am asking you for clarification. Or maybe you are just talking out of your ass? (It wouldn't be the first time.) So, please explain yourself.
