The Washington Post reports:

Hollande is expected to put forward a bill this week to extend a state of emergency for three months, enhancing police power to restrict freedom of movement and gatherings at public places.

At Versailles, he also proposed constitutional changes that would allow authorities to withdraw French citizenship from people with dual nationality, even if they were born in France, and to prevent French terrorism suspects from returning to France.

(Emphasis added.)

I feel this would be unproductive; among the problems Europe has long faced is that the children and even grandchildren of immigrants feel unwelcome in the nations of their birth: I understand there are some European countries in which birth does not convey citizenship. President Hollande's proposal would dramatically exacerbate the problem and so give rise to further terrorism.

According to my Jewish friends with relatives in Isreal the way "REAL" terrorism is organized is your typical pyramid structure.

So at the bottom there's a shitton of people who are like "yeah my brother pulls the wings off flies and draws swastikas everywhere but whatever he's my bro". So they're palestinian but they never said or done nothing BUT they do feed their bro and let their bro sleep in the back bedroom when theres some police interest in him, and his bro throws rocks at israeli soldiers...

Then a slightly smaller layer of people who are all talk and no action.

Then a slightly smaller layer of people who refuse to do business with you.

Then a smaller layer of people who call you a f-ing whatever to your face, but they'd never do anything physical.

Then a smaller layer of rock throwers, then the next level up is the arsonists and molotov throwers, then you got people who attack structures and vehicles with people in them but they don't exactly aim at the people, then you got people who wave guns around and fire warning shots, then the people who actually aim at unarmed people, then the bombers, then the stone cold mass shooters near the top, and so on and so forth.

So my buddies jewish relatives get called some interesting names on a regular basis, kids throw rocks at soldiers on tanks like every Fing day, they get their windshield broke once a lifetime, and maybe across town every once in awhile someone blows themselves and a bunch of civilians up, but it probably never directly affects them. Its a pyramid, you see.

So the point is when you're dealing with "REAL" terrorism there is a huge pyramid structure and if you chop out the bottom layers the stone cold mass shooters by definition no longer have a brother with a back bedroom and some food to support him. The arsonist doesn't have rock throwing kids around anymore to act as lookouts. The stone cold killer no longer has guys who talk a good story to sneak ammo and weapons to him.

Now if you're dealing with fake terror or outright false flag or extreme foreign ops then there is no bottom of the pyramid to remove. Think 9/11. It would be a complete waste of time to mess with the local moslems if the troublemakers are all financed and shipped in from Saudi Arabia, assuming you believe the official, convenient, narrative of 9/11. So it would be a dumb policy here in the states, but it makes a hell of a lot of sense in France, which is basically demographically turning into an Islamic country, so there's no lack of local support.

Not really seeing a problem, BTW, with the concept of the French needing a French homeland. Everyone should have a homeland if they want one.

And then at the top you've got the people with armored CATs stealing land and building walls around it.

Well, both sides behave badly, but my point of only listing the pyramid of bad guys on one side was just being concise about it. Also I personally heard the rant from a Jewish dude with relatives there, but I don't have the Palestinian connections so I got nothing first hand to report.
