Wednesday Google hosted a special edition of their annual "Demo Day" event featuring 11 early-stage startup companies founded by women from eight different countries. More than 450 women from 40 different counties applied for a spot, and the winner of the competition was Bridgit, a fast-growing Canadian company which provides a mobile communications platform for construction teams. Online voters also awarded the "Game Changer" title to KiChing, a startup that's actively addressing Mexico's unique e-commerce challenges. But all of the startups at Wednesday's event were already actively raising series-A funding, and "We aim to help connect them to mentors, access to capital, and shine a spotlight on their efforts," said Mary Grove, the director of Google for Entrepreneurs, addressing the Demo Day audience in San Francisco.

Rot in Hell, Fizzbuzz. We know it's you. You couldn't get it up for the blessed virgin herself; that's why you prey on children.

Azuma, just a request for info. You call our pedophiliac "fizzbuzz", is this the same perv known as "MikeeUSA" and no doubt many other pathetic usernames? Russian dude, from what I hear. Likely to recruited for ISIS, if he had any?

I am not sure if it's MikeeUSA or whoever but I remember someone in the IRC chatroom spewing this exact bullshit and he was called Fizzbuzz.

I had an...interesting conversation with him. When I pointed out that any being that acted like his precious "God of Deuteronomy" is more likely a demon, he said he would willingly go to Hell and be with him rather than deal with people like me o_O

Ah, now I remember where I saw this! ESR did a blog on the censoring of our nasty pedophile, who made quite a name for itself in free software circles, and even ESR finds him "distasteful". Mentions both usernames, as well as the cretin's real name. Russian. Explains so much.

Thanks for the memory jog, Azuma!
