Paul Manafort, the chairman of Donald Trump's presidential campaign who has been linked to a pro-Russia lobbying scandal, has resigned.

[...] Manafort has drawn fire for millions of dollars in undisclosed payments he allegedly received for lobbying efforts on behalf of a pro-Russian Ukrainian political party.

  I honestly don't understand the claim you and some others make so please tell me exactly how Putin is virulently anti-gay? Are you talking about the Russian Duma (parliament) passing legislation criminalizing sexualization of children? About a punk band doing what punk bands do (provoke)? About inviting Elton John to an official meeting (a real invitation after the prank made by someone else)? About individual Russian idiots doing what idiots do (insecure thugs attacking gays)? About assholes like David Cameron suckering prominent gays like Stephen Fry into saying Putin is anti-gay? The stupid major in Sochi who said there were no gays there and/or the Sochi gays who told the western "gay-friendly" NGOs to please shut the fuck up and go away and stop causing them trouble?

  What exactly makes Putin virulently anti-gay in your opinion? Hopefully it's just some Soros stuff you've been sold.

  And even if he was then why on Earth is that a bigger issue than all the gays being thrown off high-rise rooftops on a regular basis (when found) elsewhere in the world? If I was gay myself I would be a hell of a lot more worried about that than a lot of countries and people being more socially conservative than you are (as long as they leave you alone of course, the ones who don't are a real problem).
