Paul Manafort, the chairman of Donald Trump's presidential campaign who has been linked to a pro-Russia lobbying scandal, has resigned.

[...] Manafort has drawn fire for millions of dollars in undisclosed payments he allegedly received for lobbying efforts on behalf of a pro-Russian Ukrainian political party.

[...] The documents allegedly show funds allocated to Manafort totalling more than $12.7m between November 2007 and October 2012. But the agency emphasised that it had not determined whether Manafort had actually received that money.

It's weird that at least a few people purportedly still believe the MSM manufactured truths even three years after Snowden.

Then add to that Wikileaks, Guccifer, DC leaks, Democrat murders, TPP, Clinton Cash, Bernie Sanders, huge support for Trump rallies every week, and allegedly a historic surge in minorities (blacks, hispanics, homosexuals) saying they'll vote Trump rather than Clinton.

It must take a lot of effort to deny all of that. For what it's worth Trump might well still be a total shit and/or a fake and/or a horrible choice but it really doesn't look that way considering the above. Nor would he get away with it, all that will happen in that case is the same as what will happen if Clinton "wins" except contained to US soil. Trump means no more TPP, no more Clinton Cash, no more pissing on the US constitution (and that's a huge job which would over time even start a real fight against the Five Eyes idiocy), perhaps no more NATO and no more MIC or at least no more wars except for cooperating with Russia rather than Saudi Arabia and actually fighting the "true muslims"/daesh.

To check out for myself I've watched two recent Trump rally videos on rsbn.com and it's pretty simple; what Trump is selling is a velvet revolution by vote: bringing back power to the people. He's no great speaker or anything but he seems quite sincere in his disgust at the current regime and even calls it that: a regime. Maybe some of his critics don't realize what that word means, it seems they don't even dare to repeat it out of fear of letting people know. Of course a hell of a lot of people will vote for a regime change, they would be stupid not to no matter if Trump can (or want to) pull that off because at a minimum it will wreck a lot of the existing "elites" and at least start the huge amount of work it will take and with at least a little (or a lot) less violence.

If Clinton "wins" I'll wish the second US revolution starts fast enough to stop Clinton before her puppet masters nukes US-allied countries (I live in one) and blames Russia for it like they do with absolutely everything else. Russia isn't likely to nuke the countries right next to it (they don't radiation clouds sweeping over them, it would be like nuking oneself, Chernobyl spread over most of Europe, although mostly to the north and east) so I'm far more worried about the current bunch of US/NATO triggerhappy and seemingly clinically deranged assholes.

Anyway that's my take on it.

    > Trump means no more TPP, no more Clinton Cash, no more pissing on the US constitution

TPP is dead no matter what, but as recently as last month Trump was still hiring new foreign nationals on H2B visas to do un-skilled labor like housekeeping. [thehill.com] Trump means Russian cash and sooo much more pissing on the US constitution. He's on the record calling for reductions in freedom of the press. [theguardian.com] And if you think he's going to reign in the NSA, you're delusional. He's called for reauthorizing the PATRIOT act and giving the NSA all the metadata it wants [truthinmedia.com] (not to mention he's officially pro-torture [theguardian.com] and against religious freedom for non-christians).

Many of your points are or could easily be valid. I don't mind if Stein or Johnson wins although I personally don't trust them either.

And they sure don't talk or even allude to revolution. They're nowhere near angry or incensed enough for my taste.

I don't expect anyone to act like some kind of global magic bullet that can just wave a wand and say the right words, there's so much shit it's going to take a hell of a lot more time and effort than just some president. However just like Brexit it can shove two spread fingers [wikipedia.org] deep up the right kind of assholes in and behind power and also those ordinary people who continue to adore them (particularly on the left).

The great thing about Trump is how many in the establishment hate him and the insane amount of MSM shitflinging (not just in the US). With that level of orchestrated opposition from all the liars it could be that he might actually be genuinely independent. That's first base, without it nothing matters (personally I don't think the same for Stein and Johnson (and I know why my bias is that way) but I'm fine with anyone who disagrees). The "powers that be" don't worry about Stein or Johnson the same way, maybe they should but they don't.

TPP dead? Not what Hillary says, and much more importantly not what Kaine says because Kaine wanted to make it "fast-track" for the POTUS (which now could turn out to be himself).

If Trump genuinely holds that opinion on torture then he's wrong, simple as that. Pro-torture is not a good thing, not only is torture pointless and a waste of resources but self-demeaning and corrupting, just look at former secretary of state Hillary and all the rest of the incumbents (both parties). The UN and others have plenty of unfinished business with the US on torture.

Everyone should know exactly what Hillary and all other "elites" of the establishment represent: plenty of committed torture (enough to make the UN rail), huge amounts of illegal immigration (H2B is nothing in comparison and I doubt many die unlike what happens with the illegal immigration up through Latin America, look up La Bestia (the Beast)), huge amounts of dirty money from all over the world including Russia (seriously drop "fake opposition" rags like the Guardian who stopped doing Snowden stuff because they were told to, listen to Wikileaks instead), and of course the vast acceleration and "legalization" of the global mass surveillance and manipulation system.

Don't get me wrong about H2B, I oppose all forms of modern slavery aka "immigration" both in the US, Europe and the rest of the world. H2B was "supposed" to be exceptions but that's of course a lie like so much else.

The simple fact is that Hillary (and Kaine) must lose and for them to lose someone else has to win and that seems to have to be Trump but if someone can't bring themselves to vote for him then that's fine, it's their vote (I've got none, but I have got opinions).

Hillary and all that are "with her" will gladly accept a "victory" where she gets 28% and the rest get 24% each. Not that I think they or the United States of America would survive it.

I think Trump speaks from a position of ignorance when it comes to the surveillance and manipulation system but he has inadvertently happened upon a few of the things that can limit it by removing "arguments" for it and he could probably get wise to a few more. He has had the system (which includes the MSM) against him since he started but hasn't drawn the connection yet.

Freedom of the (printing) press is freedom of distribution and is not about the content itself but about everyone being completely unrestricted in their distribution of communication. Freedom of speech is for individuals and even then is not freedom not to be hold responsible for lies or errors but the bar for that is and should be very high. Misinformation campaigns, propaganda, lies, deceit, fraudulent statements etc. will and do end up in court. But opinion or "crazy" convictions? Forget it.

it's no wonder Trump is angry at the MSM and he's not in any way alone, not in the US and not in Europe. I for one despise them.

Systems like Five Eyes (Gestapo, STASI, KGB) always work the same way (AI or no AI) and they love those who are amazingly dirty in positions of "authority". Why else was Clinton "exonerated" by the FBI if not for hidden gain? They have their hooks in everyone anyway but for the top positions they really want deep and proven hooks hence "the establishment".

I don't expect to see the day it is defeated (and I'm not all that old) and I'm worried it will never be defeated. Ever.

But everything has to start somewhere and it's a good idea to remove the people who have already been part of it like both the Clinton's have.

So I might be delusional (who isn't?) but at least not on that point according to you :)

Trump winning means he sits around in the Oval Office wanking to his own reflection for 4-8 years while the Cheneys et al. wreck the world like they did the LAST time a clinical retard was president.

Unfortunately Bill Clinton did more than that :)

Cheney? Oh you were talking about Bush Jr.? Hah the mirror wanking obviously tilted it towards Clinton but then again Clinton preferred "voluntary rape" and a little murder, still again of the last three he is the most stereotypical smug git and self-anointed "God's gift to women" (those shits so often seek left). Should have been Obama for that matter since technically he is the last one (or do you think you have proof that shows otherwise? Golf handicaps don't count for any of them).
