The BBC reports that the year-long simulation of near isolation in preparation for a trip to Mars, has ended successfully.

A team of six people have completed a Mars simulation in Hawaii, where they lived in near isolation for a year.

Since 29 August 2015, the group lived in close quarters in a dome, without fresh air, fresh food or privacy.

[...] The Nasa-funded study run by the University of Hawaii is the longest of its kind since a Russian mission that lasted 520 days.

Having survived their year in isolation, the crew members said they were confident a mission to Mars could succeed.

"I can give you my personal impression which is that a mission to Mars in the close future is realistic," Cyprien Verseux, a crew member from France, told journalists. "I think the technological and psychological obstacles can be overcome."

ffttt, "dances"? The last one EF got so fed up with everyone talking about the new WOW expansion that he ripped his shirt off, climbed onto a table, and started air humping while shouting "i am the manliest!" This really offended MDC who was sleeping under the table and he began to sing loudly (and very well) of trolls dancing on the down trodden. TMB was offended that someone would so brazenly challenge him for being the most manly man at the dance. One of the few and most popular girls there was some guy in a (very nice) full-length blue dress. People lined up to dance with him/her. I would go on but i don't remember much after kurenai went down on one knee and started that proposal to you know who. But i do remember Arik finally put down his "JavaScript is evil" sign to help me to the bathroom (though he was still chanting at the top of his lungs the entire time).
