In what could be considered a real life episode of The Bachelor, a man from Chicago used Tinder to invite 15 women on a boat trip.
A woman who was delighted to be invited to a date on a boat with her Tinder match, was in for a shock when the occasion became a little crowded.
Kayla Hutch from Chicago boarded the vessel to find her date, Emad Perotta - a male model - had invited his friends and 15 other women along for the ride on Lake Michigan.
And when she spotted him canoodling with another of the invitees, she decided to share her horror on Facebook by live streaming the events on board.
The woman was reportedly offering $100 to passing boats to get back to shore.

Probably so that the duke nukem establishment here can pour on the hate that they are supposed to do this to women, and her embarassment probably means she can't put out.
At least, that's what I read in the comments. I think the guy was a jerk, but maybe I don't think with my dick.

So, from the summary, I gather that a douchebag invites 15 women through a dating site to a yacht, and a narcissistic bitch live streams this to the world as a warning of this guy's douchebaggery and to lament the situation she got herself into.
Fine. But what does this have to do with the typical articles we usually run here? Does the trivial use of web services like tinder and live-streaming warrant featuring gossip articles parading human asshattery? How does this advance science, technology, arts, politics, economy, and the general interest of nerds and news that matters? Sure, we can branch out broader than the other site, buy let's avoid the vapid gossip articles. Who here finds this interesting and would like to see more of the same?

It's the weekend and the submissions [soylentnews.org] queue is low. I wonder why no one has submitted about the bombing in NYC last night. There was definitely "asshattery" involved, but perhaps that would be less offensive to you?
Perhaps you could submit articles you'd like to see. I know, I know that's just crazy talk.

i agree - we should perhaps have a PSA message embedded to warn against using Tinder and other "meatmarket by proxy" apps....
