Also at Space.com which clarifies that when there are two New Moons in a single calendar month, the second one is called a Black Moon. This is analogous to a "Blue Moon" which is the second Full Moon occurring in a single calendar month.

  There's no conspiracy as far as SN submissions go. I sent in the cave one because it showed up in the RSS feed, because I like archaeology, and because it seemed odd that such an obvious set of caves next to a populated area could only now have been "discovered."

  I know - I was trying to be silly. Instead I got modded informative, but I guess that's sometimes happened before. :) I don't believe in Jewish conspiracies!
