In what sounds like a backstory for a sci-fi B-movie, a team from the Aerospace International Research Center (AIRC) has announced plans for Asgardia, a "space nation" satellite that will operate as its own country, independent of any Earthly nation state. At a press conference in Paris this week, project leader Dr Igor Ashurbeyli outlined the philosophical, legal and scientific goals and issues of Asgardia, as well as put out a call for Earthlings to apply to be its first citizens, and help design its flag and other national symbols.

Fans of Norse mythology (or Marvel movies) will recognize the name Asgardia as stemming from the city in the skies ruled by Odin. According to Ashurbeyli, it was chosen to represent the unifying philosophy behind the project.

"It is the realization of man's eternal dream to leave his cradle on Earth and expand into the Universe," Ashurbeyli explains. "Asgardia's philosophical envelope is to 'digitalize' the Noosphere, creating a mirror of humanity in space but without Earthly division into states, religions and nations. In Asgardia we are all just Earthlings!"

Tip for Asgardia: If Matt Damon wants to use your Med Bay, let him.

"Whore" would indicate a monetary profit motive.
I didn't perceived that in the exchange between Slick Willie and Monica--or any other of his dalliances.

...and marrying a man who, decades later, proves to be unfaithful is the best you could come up with as a shortcoming in Killery?

How about dropping bombs on children?
How about sanctions that block food and medicine that would otherwise go to children in places that refuse to knuckle under to USA's hegemony?
How about her demanding increased enforcement/sentencing/incarceration (the "Superpredators" thing) for children's parents who e.g. consume plant-based intoxicants recreationally or medicinally?

a [billionaire] bigot racist misanthropic [megalomaniac]

You forgot to mention how he hires people, promises to pay them, and stiffs them after the work is done--and has HUNDREDS of cases for that pending in courts.
You also missed the elephant in the room, the one that's currently stomping all over his chances to get the gig as well as his brand:
    He's a felon: a self-confessed serial sexual predator.

...and, seriously, dude, get yourself a spellchecker.

a political system so full of shit

The way that the Tea Party turned the Republican Party to their will was to JOIN their LOCAL Republican Party apparatus and get people elected LOCALLY.
My bet is that you haven't ever even -attended- a meeting of a political party, much less gotten involved.
I'll bet that you don't even know where they meet.

Since you know nothing about me & are merely pulling suppositions out your arse, I'll dismiss your rants & raves as those of a pseudo-Anonymous Coward.
I say pseudo because you left your Sig at the end of your post, Mister Original Owner.

My bet is that you haven't ever even -attended- a meeting of a political party, much less gotten involved.

I'm not the person you directed this at, but the LOCAL republican parties are wholly corrupt. I witnessed the complete corruption firsthand as an elected delegate in Nevada and once it was clear the pre-planned dog-and-pony show wasn't following the script, the republican party officials themselves broke their own party rules, lied to ~1300 elected delegates' faces, threw away the work of the entire convention, and "elected" their pre-picked boy via a private conference call two weeks later.

The system is broken; you can't vote your way out of it.

    He's a felon: a self-confessed serial sexual predator.

Way to torpedo yourself: only in the absence of consent has a crime been committed. By your metric, all fully-functional males are "serial sexual predators". Or are you perhaps claiming that women are incapable of deciding for themselves whether or not to allow a male to lay hands on their bodies, whether or not said male is perceived as rich and powerful?

Clearly, you think what Trump described (felony assault) has something to do with romance.
      You are criminally perverse.

Here's someone who has experienced something like what Trump described.
Amber Tamblyn's story of her sexual assault [mic.com]

...and women are now coming out of the woodwork, noting that they too were victims of Trump's crimes.
Why didn't they say something before?
Patriarchal laws. More pain for little gain. [google.com]
