    Posting a link to a tracking Web site that is not youtube, in order to avoid tracking, is ironic.

    Uh, isn't youtu.be owned by the same bunch as youtube anyway? Their short url domain (like goo.gl). So if you're worried about being tracked by that link you might as well avoid youtube completely.
