    And this is one major reason I hate politics and political parties. No one gives a shit about actually thinking for themselves, they just want to fight the "other guy". Why is it "them vs us" and not "whats best for the people"?

    Because the us vs. them narrative has been slowly pushed beyond belief. As a country the US is so far gone that civil war seems to be the next step. Maybe it has always been the undercurrent from The Civil War bubbling under the surface, or maybe its the powers-that-be pushing media stories that enhance the divide so we're easier to conquer. Hard to say, but the situation is really bad.
