Senator Boxer Introduces Bill to Eliminate Electoral College
"This is the only office in the land where you can get more votes and still lose the presidency," Boxer said in a statement. "The Electoral College is an outdated, undemocratic system that does not reflect our modern society, and it needs to change immediately. Every American should be guaranteed that their vote counts."
[...] "When all the ballots are counted, Hillary Clinton will have won the popular vote by a margin that could exceed two million votes, and she is on track to have received more votes than any other presidential candidate in history except Barack Obama," Boxer said.
Trump will be the fifth president in U.S. history to win the election despite losing the popular vote. George W. Bush won the most recent such election, in 2000.

> I don't think she's ever had a bill passed in the 20+ years she's been in congress.
Which means very little.
Being in congress isn't just about sponsoring bills. In fact, that's really just the tip of the iceburg. Working on bills, researching background, negotiating with other members of congress to get agreement, voting down bad bills, etc. That works is far more important than getting top billing.
According to wikipedia she's worked on these commitees:
Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation
Subcommittee on Aviation Operations, Safety, and Security
Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety, and Insurance
Subcommittee on Oceans, Atmosphere, Fisheries, and Coast Guard
Subcommittee on Surface Transportation and Merchant Marine Infrastructure, Safety, and Security
Subcommittee on Science and Space
Committee on Environment and Public Works (Ranking Member)
Committee on Foreign Relations
Subcommittee on Near Eastern and South and Central Asian Affairs
Subcommittee on East Asian and Pacific Affairs
Subcommittee on International Operations and Organizations, Human Rights, Democracy and Global Women's Issues (Chair)
Subcommittee on International Development and Foreign Assistance, Economic Affairs, and International Environmental Protection
Select Committee on Ethics (Vice Chair)
She's been elected to both houses of congress. That doesn't happen unless your constituents think you've been doing a good job.
> I just take the opposite position and I'm right 95% of the time.
Knowing you that seems low. I'd expect you to be right at least 150% of the time.
