After years of development, the standalone modification of Xonotic known as ChaosEsque Anthology has reached version 100.
The project has expanded Xonotic's original cast of 18 weapons to over 130 weapons, has added new textures and maps, as well as a list of other features including: city generation subsystem (with interiors), building subsystem (build buildings, furnishings, doors, blocks, the buildings have interiors and function similar to RTS buildables), marshaling subsystem, foliage subsystem, as well as mounted weapons and more vehicles. Hand-to-hand combat was added for those wishing for a Mortal Kombat feel in a free 3d video game.

?Not going to play the game because the developer believes in traditional old testament values such as:
Man being master of the female.
Rape female children results in marriage.
Child brides.
Multiple wives.
And supports the killing of those who entice one to follow some other ruler or God or way? (Another old testament traditional value). Since this is the only proven way for men to keep their rights as stated above and thus it should be done.

As opposed to Richard Stallman, MikeeUSA is an *actual* troll.
I used to play Nexuiz: a great and fun FPS game. The map "soylent" is the best.
Then it became Xonotic and lost most of its fun and balance (5 rockets to kill an enemy, or 3 headshots with the rifle, NPCs are faster than you and almost never miss with their insta-kill fish-slapping dance).
So now, generation 3 is called "ChaosEsque". Where is it on the scale between Xonotic and Nexuiz?? Dunno.
I won't download it to try out.
Try out Tremulous if you haven't yet. Multiplayer only (team based game), fantastic asymmetric gameplay, beautiful maps.

Damage is similar to True Combat:Elite
Also has chest (core) shots in addition to headshots.
Also has blindness, flashbangs, and if you are far enough away to somehow survive an explosion you might be hobbles or your hands damaged too much to hold a weapon anylonger.
