Would you have sex with a robot? Would you marry one? Would a robot have the right to say no to such a union?
These were just a few of the questions being asked at the second Love and Sex with Robots conference hastily rearranged at Goldsmiths University in London after the government in Malaysia - the original location - banned it. It has proved controversial, not only to countries with conservative views.
There were no representatives from the sex industry in attendance and no sex robots on display, leading some to question the point of the event.
RealDolls, a Californian-based firm that makes lifelike sex toys, claimed that it would release an artificial intelligence-enhanced sex doll next year. The launch, if it happens, will be vindication for Dr David Levy, who has long predicted the era of intelligent human-looking robots.

All the blackmail material available on normal people as well as politcally/socially/economically sensitive ones who don't realize that 'IoSD' (Internet of Sex Dolls) interaction provides a huge stockpile of sensitive dialogue and audio for others to pilfer for future blackmail material when you're a 'somebody' or they need leverage to get a new policy pushed through.

Surveillance? What kind of surveillance information would some one get from a sex doll? How many times a person gets his rocks off? No one but social conservatives will give a rats ass about how many times a politician polishes his pole. I personally would not want to know. The best way to look at this situation is that they have effectively removed themselves from the gene pool. Congrats!

Now, we do not see the size of that robot's penis in the article, but we do know that he was 3-D printed by her. We can also see, through careful observation, that she has a mustache and although works at getting rid of it, though to the trained eye she cannot. As a man who has dated a few Italian women, I know this. Now look at her upper lip, closely, and her arm hair. According to articles about her, she feels uncomfortable with human contact.
Women with nasty bodily hair eschew close contact because, although they think they can look good in an image, brushing against that upper lip can reveal some brushiness they do not feel comfortable with even if you do not notice it. Like I said, I dated a few Italian women, so I know. When dealing with hairy women, you have to refer to it romantically, as the old Russians did, as "down*," whether or not it is on their upper lip or running down their lower back.

I don't assume they wouldn't have ones for women. Women already have a wide array of toys compared with men. And yet they're the ones that are over eager to get married.
I don't see how this would change that. Robots can't procreate.

You'd be surprised. Considering that women are just as likely as men to dump sombody they're dating, but twice as likely to initiate a divorce, it seems fairly obvious that they do a worse job selecting a husband than men do selecting wives.
And keep in mind that women typically won't even see men that aren't at least at their level of success as existing. Hence all the whining about wage gaps that only exist if you ignore the men that don't make much money.

I'm very much aware that women aren't perfect. But, given society's rather generous freebies given to women, they should be held to a higher standard. After all, for those to whom more is given, more should be expected.
Marriage is a partnership and in too many cases the woman checks out and retains a lawyer before telling the husband. Men occasionally do that, but it's a rarity.
