Back in August Adobe reversed its decision to stop offering an NPAPI Flash plugin for Linux and promised that version 23 would come Penguinistas' way real soon now.

At the time the decision was greeted with surprise, because Adobe had not thought to update Flash for Linux since 2012's version 11.2. But the company decided that Linux users deserved a security upgrade to the infamously hole-ridden product.

It turns out the company fibbed, because it's now delivered version 24 of the plugin to Linux users, making this a thirteen-version jump between releases*.

That's the same version number offered to Windows and Mac users, but the new Linux version lacks features found on those other platforms. Linux users willing to put up with almost-certainly-insecure** will therefore have to put up with missing 3D acceleration from GPUs.

I could care less about your pedantic hangups, because I'm careless with language as long as it serves it's function of facilitating communication. Everyone knows what he meant, so quit trying to preserve "proper english" and all that bullshit when it doesn't matter at all.

Don't come crying to me when you get burned by some vendor who put weird non-standard English in a contract because "everyone knows what he meant".

There are reasons that standards exist.

      Dear Sir or Madam:

Your contracts are written in standard English? Boy do you have some disappointment coming up in your life. I don't feel sorry for you though, since you are spamming this forum.

For those of you who have a low IQ: There is a huge difference between accepted society rules for an internet forum, standard English, phone text messages, doctorate papers, literature, office emails, and contract language. Source: I am not stupid and possess common knowledge.

The persona non grata would like us to use contract language here everyone. What you are proposing is contra legem. Fucktart. Is that a word - or is it "Fucktard" or is the proper usage "Fuck-tard". Please correct my spelling here - I don't know words.

Carelessness with language usually signals careless thought. I still don't know how much the original quasi-literal poster cares! Of course, even if we knew he (or she) couldn't care less, without knowing their own personal scale of caring, we could not know how much care that would be. But then, if they could careless, even if we knew what their lower terminus of care-ocity was, we could not even place the quantum of caring on a relative scale, making the entire idiom meaningless and incoherent. So it does matter, and your protestations are only evidence of your own lacunae when it comes to grammar, syntax, semantics, and interpersonal communication.

Nah. They're evidence of a comment here not being something I pay attention to or care about. I know that for you, comments here is an important thing in your life so you do it carefully. Normal people just care about getting the message and understand there are no grammar rules here. Others of us don't look at the internet as a part of their social life. We also get laid a lot more. I took about 30s to type this with my thumb, while being in an elevator and talking to someone. It's simple: pressing the right floor button and my conversation with the cumbucket are more important to me than you not being upset about proper grammar.

The text messages you send from your phone must be a thrill to read.
      girl - "wat r u up 2 l8r. wanna fuck?"
you - Good afternoon. Please learn to capitalize the first word of a sentence. In fact, only 25% of the words in what you wrote are written correctly. Sincerely, ugly nerd loser. PS. Please do correct your grammar and resubmit. PSS. I honestly believe you don't know basic expressions so I am correcting them. PSSS. I don't have anything on-topic to say about this, since I am stupid, so I will grammar-check your message instead. PSSSS. pssssssssssss

Oh who am I kidding. With your annoying personality (and likely bad, bad looks), I shouldn't've used "girl". Disgusting fat unibrow glasses-wearing unshaven disgusting animal that's willing to talk to you. I highly doubt you have anyone to send them to besides family and other people with your awkward lack of social skills and external beauty.

U got some long-term Valium in your future bud. I love people like you. Their lives are so sad and unsatisfying, it makes me warm inside to enjoy their misery. When they try to rationalize their retarded bland lonely existence in response, it makes my whole day happy. Just knowing they have decades and decades of that suffering left.

      if they could careless

Careless is an adjective. Care is a noun. What you want to say is "if they could Care Less." You cannot replace a noun with an adjective - it completely changes the meaning of you're sentence. Here, let me provide some references and diagrams online for you to read. If you don't understand from those references, you can use this thing I've discovered called a search engine. A search engine looks on the internet for sites matching a keyword. You should look up "looser" to find a picture of yourself. Sorry, I mean your mother.

People who think comments on this site need careful thought are losers. Have you ever had sex with a girl others would find attractive? You can. Start saving up some money.
