Last weekend it was reported that Hackers had seized control of accounts belonging to Free Ross, the effort to raise money for the legal defense of Ross Ulbricht. Ulbricht is well known as the founder of the Silk Road dark marketplace, sentenced to life in prison. Accounts seized apparently included cellphones, social network accounts, and Paypal and Bitcoin accounts.

The Free Ross effort now reports that all accounts have been recovered and that no funds have been lost.

More like, the Gov. has gotten the information on all the contibutors; they've gotten all they need. It would be theft to take the money. So.. restore account ownership!

lol, that is silly. Fed monitor the upstream and downstream, and pretty much own all the data in any 'murican company's database... why would they need to hack accounts?!! Other then bruteforcing bitcoin wallet pass, i assume all the other data here can be had through the official channels...

And why wouldn't feds steal, I'm curious?
