Oman says it has accepted 10 inmates from the US prison at Guantanamo Bay ahead of President Barack Obama leaving office.

"To meet a request by the US government to assist in settling the issue of the detainees at Guantanamo, out of consideration of their humanitarian situation, 10 people released from that prison arrived in the Sultanate of Oman for a temporary residency," a foreign ministry statement said.
19 of the remaining 55 prisoners at Guantanamo Bay were cleared for release just days ago.

The glass is more than half full with Obama. Some people will live because of Obamacare. That is the bottom line.
He didn't fix all of Bush's mistakes, because he was unable to. Obviously, Obama wanted to close Gitmo down.

The other bottom line was the accounts of insurance companies, that line went up a lot. Sure the ACA had some redeeming qualities but it was a travesty for idea of socialized healthcare (and it isn't even socialized, just stupid conservatives think it is).

This disconnect would make more sense if it were properly called Romneycare, because that's what it is. The "individual mandate" was Romney's idea when he was governor of Massachusetts, IIRC.

Don't get dizzy from your verbal tricks. More people have access to healthcare due to the ACA. That is going to translate to lives saved. Or maybe you think life is a zero-sum game.
