The Dutch satirical news show Zondag met Lubach (literally, Sunday with Lubach) is a show in the same vein as Last Week Tonight . The week after Trump's inauguration, it made a short clip to introduce the Netherlands to the new US administration. The clip is irreverent, but, to those with a suitable sense of humour, hilarious - see for yourself on youtube.

This went viral, leading even to a White House petition to make the Netherlands second.

Apparently, this video kicked off a bit of a habit amongst satirical shows in Europe to create alternative videos promoting their own country. Here [nos.nl] is an article containing Germany, Belgium (with Belgian's greatest band ever: ABBA. It's true. Alternative fact.), Denmark, and Switzerland. If anyone has more: do share!

Yeah, noticed those this morning. Both the Belgian and German aren't that funny. They mostly badmouth the Netherlands, and are hardly creative in themselves (although the Belgian, requesting the 10th place was a bit funny though).

Actually, there is now a site (made by the Germans), dedicated to list all the introduction videos made by each country.
