America's new president gave an address to a joint session of Congress. The Los Angeles Times posted a full transcript of the speech (along with remarks from its staff that may require Javascript to view); Bloomberg uploaded a video of the event.
The New York Times called it "the most presidential speech Mr. Trump has ever given — delivered at precisely the moment he needed to project sobriety, seriousness of purpose and self-discipline."

Rhetoric, I guess you are not immune to his bullshit. If he believed in it, or at the least doesn't care about it, then he would have played the politician game to whip the people up about it like he does with other points. No, this one he delivered like it was a rotten apple.
Thanks for the downmod whoever, makes me regret upmodding a comment in another thread that seemed to be downmodded instead of "disagree". Happens a lot with my comments, though I will agree my initial one here was more "ranty" than most. I'm not guilty of downmodding you, but I have to admit the temptation was there. You seem to have some of that butthurt going around among liberals, and you make it pretty obvious in your post.
The speech was actually a pretty decent speech. It was much better than a lot of his off-the-cuff rhetoric over the past several months. But, you start talking about pigs and pork and other superflous bullshit.
Question: are you a better man than the freak SJW's, or are you just another ideologist who can't stand anyone with a different opinion? If you are the latter, you'll be downmodded frequently.
