The old reCAPTCHA system was pretty easy—just a simple "I'm not a robot" checkbox would get people through your sign-up page. The new version is even simpler, and it doesn't use a challenge or checkbox. It works invisibly in the background, somehow, to identify bots from humans. Google doesn't go into much detail on how it works, only saying that the system uses "a combination of machine learning and advanced risk analysis that adapts to new and emerging threats." More detailed information on how the system works would probably also help bot-makers crack it, so don't expect details to pop up any time soon.
[...] When sites switch over to the invisible CAPTCHA system, most users won't see CAPTCHAs at all, not even the "I'm not a robot" checkbox. If you are flagged as "suspicious" by the system, then it will display the usual challenges.

(((Google))) knows enough about you to tell who you are. (((Google))) has been through your wardrobe as well. What they want to tell us is that there is nowhere to hide. (((Google))) knows all your dirty little secrets, your fetishes, the names and addresses of all your Exes (ex-girlfriends, not executables). They are telling people to self-censor.
And this, in combination with the data gathered by M$ on Windows, and the data gathered by the CIA's vast array of spying tools (hardware, software, (((facebook))) etc).
When people know they are being watched (whether that is true or not), they censor what they write, what they say, and eventually what they think. Then (((they))) win.

Yup, its the slow slide into "papers please" except the "paper" gathering will be automatically handled by facial recognition and various biometric scans. Butlerian Jihaaaaad! Wonder if that just put me into some database that isn't well versed in scifi...
