Open source projects are by their nature intended to be welcoming, pulling in contributions from many different volunteers. But in reality, open source and the tech industry in general often lack diversity. Speaking at the Open Source Leadership Summit in February, Mozilla's Chief Innovation Officer Katharina Borchert told the crowd that working to bring ethnic, gender, and skill diversity to open source projects isn't just the right thing to do because of moral grounds, it's the right thing to do to make projects more successful.
Me, I beg to differ. Pretty sure success has to do with the diversity of thought/ideas rather than genetic diversity.

Sub-Saharan Africans are not particularly inbred. What I had in mind was European royalty, the Rothschild family (who routinely kept it in the family tree), and some rural families in the Deep South.
The only thing that stops a bad guy with a compiler is a good guy with a compiler.

Sub-Saharan. Sure nuff, undiluted black folks. They're bout the only place on the planet you don't find several percent of neanderthal DNA. If there's been any interracial breeding going on at all, they've almost certainly picked some of it up.

Depends on how you look at it, I suppose. Everyone else has the DNA of an entirely different species in their gene pool.

Also, digging into it some more, it looks like the science states the exact opposite of what you contend, and that Africans have a higher genetic diversity than other humans [nih.gov].

Lies, trolling, and stupidity. You can never be sure what type of bullshit he is spouting, but 9/10 doctors recommend a strict diet of "no TMB".
