What is “lunch shaming?” It happens when a child can’t pay a school lunch bill.
In Alabama, a child short on funds was stamped on the arm with “I Need Lunch Money.” In some schools, children are forced to clean cafeteria tables in front of their peers to pay the debt. Other schools require cafeteria workers to take a child’s hot food and throw it in the trash if he doesn’t have the money to pay for it.
In what its supporters say is the first such legislation in the country, New Mexico has outlawed shaming children whose parents are behind on school lunch payments.

You are so right - taking food from a grocery store without paying for it should be allowed when you're hungry. I mean, think of the children!!!
If farmer Bob can't afford to feed himself with everyone taking all of his food that he toiled to create for free, then he needs to stop being a racist and work harder. No, the kid's parents don't need to work harder, why would they? That makes no sense at all!

Yeah! F****ng tight-wad Scrooges! I say take all their money, and all their dog's money, too! I say we make these selfish hoarders so poor they have to rely on free school lunches for their kids! How effing twisted do you have to be to think that tax-payer funded school lunch directed by our duly elected representatives is the equivalent of stealing from the grocery?
Food stamps are also theft from the supermarket.
Driving on a public road is theft from toll-road owners.
Public education is theft from private schools.
Welfare housing is theft from rental property owners.

We give them foodstamps so they don't have to steal. Because, honestly, I don't think I can condemn someone for stealing when they are starving to death.
