The FBI and DoJ Were Granted a FISA Warrant to Monitor a Trump Campaign Aide Last Summer

A FISA warrant was obtained to monitor Trump campaign aide Carter Page before the election:

The FBI obtained a warrant to secretly surveil former Donald Trump aide Carter Page last summer under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), according to a Tuesday Washington Post report.

The FBI and Justice Department demonstrated probable cause that Page is acting on behalf of a foreign state in order to be granted the warrant.

The FISA warrant was part of the FBI's investigation into possible ties between Russia and Trump campaign associates, law enforcement and U.S. officials told the Post.

"This confirms all of my suspicions about unjustified, politically motivated government surveillance," Page told the Post Tuesday. "I have nothing to hide."

Page has not been accused of committing a crime.

DiGenova: Rice Ordered 'Spreadsheets' on Calls Involving Trump, Aides

Submitted via IRC for TheMightyBuzzard

Former President Barack Obama's national security adviser Susan Rice ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce "detailed spreadsheets" of legal phone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides when he was running for president, according to former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova.

"What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals," diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday.

[...] Other official sources with direct knowledge and who requested anonymity confirmed to TheDCNF diGenova's description of surveillance reports Rice ordered one year before the 2016 presidential election.

Trump and his team are at the very least aware of the power of repeating falsehoods until they become a reality. They're more aware of repeating falsehoods until they become so muddled and meaningless that almost any sort of related evidence will be considered validation. The US has been spying on everyone - more and more - for 15 years or so now. But since the media (who are all exactly as bad as Fox and vice-versa) decided to do what they do and make assumptions before evidence.

Previously they basically told trump "no one ever came near to spying on you", so now he gets to legitimately believe that there really is a conspiracy theory and everyone is out to get him and he was spied on and that's why he's a loser. Not because it's actually his fault he's a loser. Since they don't want to be embarassed and reflectively put spin on things anyway, the same media will now twist their previous words (in an obvious way that will be ridiculed and give Trump ammo) so that they were right anyway.

That's far from the truth. But that you believe it indicates that you are an uncritical media consumer.

I'm an uncritical consumer after having just been critical of the media as a whole. Okay. So besides that bit of fuckery what part was I wrong about? Or do you see the rating whoring that CNN, HP, CNN, MSM, and Fox do as different/better than one another. Who's your favorite anathema to America between them? I can't decide.

Should I go with the one that never fails to depict Obama as a non-human nigger (oh excuse me, "Kenyan" as they like to say instead) while depicting Trump in a light that borders on or perhaps passes propaganda even when murdering brown people and spying on americans.

Or the one that never fails to depict Trump as a powerful force of evil and terror that we can fulfill our video game fantasies "resisting" while depicting Obama as a savior to the lower class that can do no wrong even when murdering brown people and spying on americans.

      Gawd, they're just SO DIFFERENT.
