"Russia's Supreme Court formally banned Jehovah's Witnesses as an extremist organization Thursday and ordered the state to seize its property in Russia, according to Russian news media."
The family story goes that my grandmother got onto their Do Not Visit list by inviting some Jehovah's Witnesses in, settling them down with a cup of tea, and proceeding to tell them all about Roman Catholicism for an hour.
Some friends used to go with the "We're Satanists!" line.
Worked especially well on a Sunday morning when there'd been a massive party and the front lawn was littered with bottles, articles of clothing, and other, um, objects.
