Common Dreams reports:

In yet another reminder of how corporate-friendly the Trump administration has been—despite campaign pledges to defend American workers and "buy American, hire American" rhetoric—a new study out [April 25] reveals that the president continues to reward U.S. companies who ship jobs overseas.

According to the analysis (pdf), conducted by Good Jobs Nation along with Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch, "the flow of federal contract awards to major offshorers has continued unabated since Trump's inauguration."

The outsourcing of American jobs to other countries is a major issue for American voters, and helped propel President Donald Trump's victory in a number of economically distressed rust-belt states.

Despite this, as many as "56 percent of the top U.S. firms awarded the largest taxpayer-funded contracts in fiscal year (FY) 2016 engage in offshoring", the report notes. Further, 41 of the top 100 federal contractors--which in 2016 received a combined $176 billion in taxpayer dollars--have shipped jobs overseas and "many continue to do so today".

[...] "Even though he's signed over 60 executive orders during his first 100 days, he has yet to use the power of the pen to stop corporations that receive taxpayer dollars from shipping American jobs overseas", said Joseph Geevarghese, director of Good Jobs Nation.

and you're the second person that proved my point about you guys being the exact same as each other. Happily weaponizing quotes out of context to further your agenda. Lying. Being counter-intuitive on purpose. You are precisely the same as Trump in your hypocrisy and shamelessness.

How can you possibly take "grab them by the pussy", and everything else he said in that conversation, out of context? Weaponizing it? No, sir. It was not weaponized to be pointing that out. Trump "hoisted himself up by his own petard" and no other weapon was required.

Just what fucking context is there that makes that okay? He was literally talking about walking up and performing the act of sexual assault.

I don't buy it as locker room talk. It's disgusting beyond measure to have trivialized the acts of sexual assault in the ways that he did. He perfectly described a despicable act of sexual assault upon a woman, of which, many women have claimed he literally performed upon them.

Not sure how you weaponize the truth against a man and take it of context, when it came out of his own mouth and was not vague in its description.

Are you guys really this partisan to not see the issue here? At no point did I refer to Trump in any capacity. You're continuously re-proving the point and have your head too far into your own parties to understand that what I'm criticizing is the system of politics that allowed Trump to be elevated to his current position. Are you really not seeing how it was your partisan bullshit that enabled him to fuel this hysteria against liberals and democrats in the first place. They. Are. All. The. Fucking. Same. How is this not obvious.

I think you need to step back a bit. Nothing to do with partisan anything. Perhaps you should try to explain yourself, and the overall point a bit better.

        -- Being counter-intuitive on purpose.
-- You are precisely the same as Trump in your hypocrisy and shamelessness.

In the context of the thread we were speaking about Trump:

Grabbing someone's pussy because you can because you're rich IS rape. If you are fined for racial discrimination not once but twice, you ARE a racist. If you saw shit like "blood comeing out of her... whatever", you ARE sexist. Those are inarguable FACTS.

How did I weaponize a quote out of context? Perhaps it furthered my agenda, but it was not out of context and any weaponization is explicitly and entirely Trump's own fault. He has hoisted himself by his own petard as a career. It's just interesting that he continually escapes the consequences. Ask Billy Bush about that.

Lying? Ummm, he said it on video. No lying required. We didn't create "fake news" (nudge nudge) by continually bringing up the verifiable truth.

Another way to put your next statement is deliberate and willful ignorance to achieve a goal. Nobody is saying anything other than he is a misogynistic sexual predator and a piece of shit. Which is not only self-evident, but backed up by actual evidence. There is no misinformation being imparted, and no deliberate obfuscation of information, and no unbiased analyses or predictions. Just the facts.

The last one is fighting words :) I am not same as Trump. I'm not hypocritical because I've never even considered walking up to an attractive girl and grabbing her by the pussy. Just a bit slightly arrogant that she would be receptive, and certainly not the behavior of a gentlemen interested in romance. Although, I am shameless about bringing it up :) You got me nailed there, buddy.

While you may have some point hiding around in there, you are way off base in those statements as it relates to the sexual predation of Mr. Trump. That is most certainly a bipartisan activity, and the fact that it isn't, is exceptionally shameful of the Trump supporters. It's more important that they get there way than it is to fight sexual predation and decidedly ungentlemanly conduct.

You may actually have a point about failure to explain myself.

You mean he is fucking over all his rabid bigoted White Nationalist supporters once he got into office? But...but...but... he wasn't supposed to turn out like crooked Hillary! :D

If were lucky, it will turn out to be a light raping of this country.

Stuff like this is from the outset is counter-intuitive, oversimplifying and quite untrue about quite a few of Trump's voters. And exactly the same shit that conservative speakers, trump's twitter tantrums and supporters do while telling the other team they're doing it. Always an assumption of alignment and always horrible dehumanizing simplification of a population. Understand that much of his support comes from TV. TV where this kind of blabber is repeated in cycles day in and out. Fighting sound bytes. All parties are keeping people ignorant as a result of it.

And that's also where blabber like you posted is at its absolute worst. But you're not recognizing your own blabber because if I take issue with it then clearly I'm one of those groups or think that his bragging about sexual assault is anything but gross. I'm not. I just think it's a hilarious tragedy that 45 years later we've got computers and internet and still doing the whole "Don't call me a crypto-nazi you queer" thing. It shows how far removed from reality people are that they think the "Crooked Hillary" crap is even a thing outside twitter. I am being 100% sincere when I say it's only my uncle that thinks Michelle Obama is a man that I have ever heard use that term in real life.

To be absolutely clear on my position towards Trump: Most of my soylent news journal usage have been recording random thoughts and questions for the community about just how much of a joke and budding dictator he is. You can safely assume I'm not a white nationalist or anything. I also know that he has emboldened bigots. But given that I am rural I have tried to understand the reasoning of his voters on a local level from friends, acquaintances and family.

To whittle it all down to white nationalism is just the same old shit that caused such a reaction in the first place and in my eyes registers pretty much the same way "libtard" does. People on all sides of this - the ones that think a side is a necessary - fail to understand that because of their media and social bubble.

I've been forcefully exposed to super liberal/progressive states and super-conservative ones alike. They themselves are different from super-conservative bible belt states. Something which appears to have flown right over the heads of people.

If my equally bad tl;dr to your bad tl;dr was insufficient. Lemme try a hypothetical. We have an understanding of where your above quotes came from and what you were trying to express with them. But how easy would it be to screenshot and crop that and post it on twitter as an example of "the regressive left" or whatever their counter-blabber is to being called white nationalists? Now remove the respectful understanding that fox, cnn and co. are incapable of possessing and spin it in a negative tone above a silly looking picture of yourself and hey look at that edIII said the whole murika ever is RACIST AND JUST SAID ALL WHITES ARE GOING TO RAPE THE COUNTRY.

I will agree that my points are well hidden. It's not intentional. But I fail terribly at explaining my position and dig myself in deeper trying to expand my posts with explanations. Which make them more muddled. Like right now. So I'll stop.

Ahhh, you're just wrong about my statements then.

            1) The "light raping" is not counter-intuitive, oversimplifying, or untrue. I mean that in a literal sense, just like how Genghis Khan literally raped the world for awhile. Perhaps the word pillage would be best, but that doesn't quite capture what is happening with the yet again massive wealth transfer to the top 1%. It IS a form of rape against our country when no representative democracy exists, and those in power abuse it to amass and hoard wealth. The people are just as victimized. The term rape is actually the correct term when referring to land resources and our activity with nature. Maybe that's wrong, but it's grammatically correct with its usage having precedent. Like how Abraham Lincoln participated in the mass raping of our lands and resources with the robber barons of old.... which he used to work for... as a lawyer...

Trump is just repeating a known working formula.

            2) White Nationalism is the absolutely most perfect phrase to describe the primary motivating factor of Trump's rise to power. I'm not apologetic about that, and I'm deeply fucking pissed that I woke up one day to find out that most of my fellow white guys are fucking bigots and racists that were just being silent for years. At least seemingly so, otherwise how did Trump get elected on a platform of pure nationalistic hate*? It IS White Nationalism that played a very significant part, and many of the values they espouse are fucking abhorrent. Instead of calling it White Nationalism, some people are being more intellectual and calling it racial security/insecurity. Yes, I tease these racially insecure people and enjoy their pain. Perhaps me not taking the high road, but fuck it, there are no high roads left in America. They are the "basket of deplorables", and they can kiss my fucking ass.

Yes, there is chunk of Trump supporters that are not like that. I realize that, and to them I do apologize. However, much like moderate and loving Islam, they're fucking silent right now. The moderate Trump supporters that I know? They are all fucking pissed off too and greatly disappointed in their choice. So Trump supporters as a group are contracting, not expanding.

3*) Crooked Hillary is most certainly a thing outside of Twitter. I was calling that absolute cunt crooked before Twitter took off. She IS crooked. She's the reason why we have Trump. She's the reason why I couldn't vote for Sanders, or at least she made sure it wasn't a fair fucking fight. I'm somewhat down for locking the bitch up. Just prove her corruption with her foundation and the pay-to-play bullshit that happened with her and the Saudi's IIRC. Not crooked outside of Twitter? Surely you misspoke....

But you're not recognizing your own blabber because if I take issue with it then clearly I'm one of those groups or think that his bragging about sexual assault is anything but gross. I'm not.

I'm not recognizing my own blabber because we both got confused over context, who was replying about what, etc. :) Honestly, I was very puzzled by that response and thought it was purely in reaction to the "pussy grabbing" comments.

Your post makes a lot more sense when connected with my original comments, and no, I don't misconstrue you taking me to task for that with your support of sexual predation.

I apologize if you thought I did.
