The continuing developments over Russian hackers, including the unfolding details of the yahoo breech includes the U.S. indicting agents of the Russian computer crime unit.
Mike Eckel, of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, notes that 3 of the FBI's cyber most wanted include Sushchin, Dokuchaev, and Belan, all who are noted to have worked with the FSB, Russia's Federal Security Service, ostensibly to catch cybercriminals, while committing crimes themselves, and using their connections to evade detection.
Dokuchayev, with whom the Americans met with during their 2009 meetings in Moscow, was once well-known in cybercircles under the nickname Forb. He worked with other FSB officers, including one named Igor Sushchin, to recruit hackers to cooperate with the Russian agency on cyberactivities. Among the recruits was Aleksei Belan, who has been wanted by the FBI since 2012 for alleged hacking and computer fraud.
[...] In March, Dokuchayev's name surfaced again when the U.S. Justice Department announced his indictment, and that of FSB officer Sushchin, in connection with the massive data breach at the Internet company Yahoo. Mikhailov's name does not appear in the indictments, although cyberexperts believe someone identified only as "FSB Officer 3" is, in fact, Mikhailov. Sushchin, according to the indictment, worked as an undercover officer at the investment bank Renaissance Capital.
Part of the problem may be with how Russia uses and recruits cybercriminals from time to time:
"Moscow still depends, to a considerable extent, on recruiting cybercriminals, or simply calling on them from time to time, in return for their continued freedom," Mark Galeotti, a Prague-based expert on Russian intelligence agencies, wrote in a report published on April 18."
"This all -- this all is a mess," Vrublevsky told RFE/RL. "And it's a mess to be dealt with in both countries. The sooner the better."

If the separatists are just Russians in disguise like you claim, why doesn't Ukraine secure its border instead of bombing itself? This also doesn't explain why people fled Ukraine into Russia.
Ummm -
a) Ukraine isn't bombing itself. The Russians are bombing Ukraine. But you know that.
b) People aren't fleeing into Russia from Ukraine, except murderous crooks like Yanukovych. Is it Yanukovych you are thinking of? Must be. In fact, many Russian soldiers have defected to the Ukraine side. Mostly conscripts from oblasts other than Moscow. People trying to get away from the Russians even though they are in the Russian army. Funny how that works.

And again, if Russia is supposedly bombing Ukraine why aren't they protecting their border? The Minsk accord's demarcation line is 50 miles inside Ukraine.

Yanukovych may be a murderous crook, but he also was elected with strong support in certain regions of Ukraine. As it is obvious to everyone who actually cares, the country was already politically divided long before the coup. Your failure to admit this and instead blame Russia is just ignorant.

Sure. The Russians in Ukraine (a million or more) who were in as occupiers ran back to Russia. Also Some Eastern Ukrainians who were pro Russian ran back to Russia. A lot of these "Ukrainians" were Russians who had been put into Ukraine or married into Ukraine, so that's no surprise.
Out of a total of 45 Million Ukrainians, a million went back to Russia.
And you are trying to say all Ukrainians want to go to Russia? Get real. The vast majority of Ukrainians want to get as far away from Russia as possible. The vast majority of Ukrainians are putting their lives on the line to get the hell away from Russia.
Next you'll be saying that the Bosnians wanted to stay with Serbia. Or the Chechens want to be Russians.

Exactly - how Yanukovich manipulated the ballots is well documented. The only tall tales here are the ones you are telling to try to pretend that Ukrainians want to stay in Russia. Doh.
My family is Ukrainian. They want nothing to do with Russia. They are European, not slaves to the Russian dictatorship. And you Putin-lovers will never get Ukraine back as a slave state again.
The only time I've seen posts like yours is from Russians being paid in the propaganda factory out of Petersburg. Just another one of those I guess. So it's not worth spending any more time on you.

Y'know, for the sake of argument I'll give you Ukraine and Chechnya (those wars being as old as they are), but Syria no. Somebody else, predating Putin by far (and not even from that side of the Urals), started that one.
