Linux Mint terrorist Samata Ullah has been jailed for eight years by Cardiff Crown Court.

Ullah, as we reported on Friday, was caught with, among other things, a USB cufflink loaded with a copy of the Linux distro.

The former insurance worker pleaded guilty to five terrorism charges, including being a member of Islamic State and two charges of possessing terrorist material.

Vice's Motherboard offshoot had a look round his "basic Wordpress" blog aimed at promoting Islamic State propaganda. They noted that police investigators seized more than 6.1 terabytes of data from his Cardiff home.

Pronunciation tip: the 'll' in 'Ullah' is a voiceless lateral fricative.

The referenced goat-humper was jailed for IS-related activities, not for being a Mint user.

Or for being Welsh, and while Welshness may be the subject of ridicule in some circles it is not, as yet, a criminal offence.

So he landed in gaol for being a nerd. Jery unjust!

The traditional animal for the activity you mention is the sheep, not the goat. (Goats are mascots for several military regiments, but the sheep is more commonly associated with Wales.)

A bit of how's your father with a sheep is nothing. We've all done it. But slip your david cameron into some other sort of beast and you'll never hear the end of it.

It is acceptable to use a goat according to the Koran, at least if there is no woman around.

In both Iraq and Afghanistan, US troops see it often. If you search a bit, you can find videos taken via some sort of thermal or low-light camera, probably from a helicopter.

This is better than some of the alternatives. They also go for boys in Afghanistan; US troops sometimes get in trouble for being unable to resist the urge to intervene vigilante-style. Small girls are not safe in these countries. Remember, Mohammed's wife was 9 when they had sex. He put his penis between her legs when she was 6. With that kind of example, and the shortage of legitimate access to normal women, it should be no surprise that things get disturbing.

Maybe he was not jailed for using it, but using Mint is definitely an act of terrorism - he should have been using Unity!

    Especially while humping goats.

Ya, but if it was an honest headline, who would have read it? "yet another ISIS terrorist arrested" *yawn*

    Cough: COMPLETELY misleading "headline".

    Welsh - nope
    Linux Mint - so what

Terrorist - yes. Another "immigrant" "refugee" etc... showing his true colours.

Thing is now, can the collapsing "West"ern culture handle a bit of truth?
