We've previously discussed the possibility of running a two hour marathon (with much of the usual wit in this thread). For a comparison against running one mile in four minutes, running at the pace of a five minute mile would be too slow. Like running a mile in four minutes, people said running a marathon in two hours was impossible. However, it is looking very possible with advanced footwear and suchlike. Specifically, Kenyan marathon runner Eliud Kipchoge was within 0.4% of this goal. Variously reported as being 25 seconds or 26 second too slow, his effort is an unofficial world record.

      Yes, actually, someone does force AC's to read stories they don't want to read. I have 17 AC's locked in my dungeon, who I torture until they click these links, and leave a comment. It took me years to brainwash them into thinking they have no names, but, today, I can proudly show off my imbicile AC's. When you see one of the AC's whining about the quality of the submissions, you know that he is one of my stable of bitches.

      And, tonight, AC number 14 will get no dinner for his impertinance! Take THAT AC!!! (Note that my AC's only get one meal each day - they share a couple of cans of Alpo each night before I turn out the lights in the dungeon.)

          Seen the new "Soylent Wars" movie? Its kinda gory. AC misidentifies number 7 as a human female whom is actually a flat chested hairy wookie. The collectible AC action figure has a removable arm that fits down ACs mouth, just like the movie.
