On Thursday, President Donald Trump signed a long-awaited executive order on cybersecurity.
Mainly, the order requires a number of cybersecurity reviews across the various agencies of the federal government, in order to determine what must be done to strengthen federal computer systems, as well as United States' critical infrastructure.
Here are some industry reactions to the executive order Help Net Security received.

I'll tell you what rational people most likely think. That Trump made a lot of money in Russia, and naturally he has ties to Russia. He married a Russian, which makes his ties to Russia even stronger. Some people in Russia probably like him. A lot of people in Russia probably dislike Hillary quite a lot. So, Russians, as well as the Russian government naturally preferred that Trump would win over Hillary.
Given that Trump has ties to Russia, and that the Democrats have been working overtime to demonize Russia as well as Russians, it seems reasonable that the Dems are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
I withhold final judgement. Trump ain't squeaky clean, after all. A lot of people dislike him, with good reason. But, at this point in time, there is no reason to think he is actually dirty. Let the investigation proceed.

You're geographically challenged as well, Runaway? [wikipedia.org]
Or maybe you were thinking of Ivana? Wrong again:
I get it now. I know, you're referring to Marla Maples! Oh, wait [wikipedia.org]:
Okay. I guess I missed the Russian wife. Or not. What was the rest of what you were going on about? It may well be more useful/accurate than this, but given the complete lack of (easily checked) of knowledge about this, I stopped reading there.

Yugoslavia was a Soviet Socialist Republic, until the Soviet fell. That's pretty "Russian" from a geopolitical point of view. It's Russian enough for the Dems who want to demonize Russia, and Trump. Anything on the other side of the old Iron Curtain counts.

You've once again shown your ignorance, Runaway. Perhaps you should learn a little about what you're talking about before spouting off. [wikipedia.org]
Here's a taste for you [wikipedia.org]:
Once again, it's clear that you're talking out of your ass.
I'll give you an analogy (sorry, no cars involved) and I'll use small words so you'll be sure to understand:
IIRC you're in Arkansas, right?
Arkansas was part of the Confederacy. By your logic, that makes you a racist proponent of human slavery and a traitor to the United States right?
Good job!

Melania is Slovenian. Slovenia is pretty much on the US Empire side. Russia's friend in that area is Serbia, which the Empire has decimated over the last 20 years.
Otherwise, I completely agree with your post.

Yeah, and many more dislike him. This might come as a surprise to you, but even in Capitalist Russia, people don't like corporate magnates. Hatred for the corporate elite is the one universal feeling that binds all cultures on the planet.
