Armed police respond to serious incidents at London Bridge and Borough Market – with members of the public urged to reach areas of safety.

Since late yesterday evening [Saturday, 3 June], the Metropolitan Police Service has been responding to incidents in the London Bridge and Borough Market areas of south London. We are treating this as a terrorist incident and a full investigation is already underway, led by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.

[...] Six people have been killed in terror attacks on London Bridge and at Borough Market.
Three male suspects have been shot dead by police.
Canisters seen around the body of at least one of the suspects have been “established to be hoaxes”, police said.
Police believe all of those directly responsible for the attack have been killed.

[...] Since March there has been the Westminster attack by Khalid Masood, who mowed down pedestrians near parliament and stabbed a policeman, resulting in six deaths, including his own: and the Manchester bombing two weeks ago that killed 22. And now London again.

[...] An editor in the Sun’s London Bridge Street office says police confirmed that a number of blasts heard [...] were controlled explosions.

An investigation into the foreign funding of extremist Islamist groups may never be published, the Home Office has admitted.

The inquiry commissioned by David Cameron, was launched as part of a deal with the Liberal Democrats in December 2015, in exchange for the party supporting the extension of British airstrikes against Isis into Syria.

But although it was due to be published in the spring of 2016, it has not been completed and may never be made public due to its "sensitive" contents.

It is thought to focus on Saudi Arabia, which the UK recently approved £3.5bn worth of arms export licences to.

"Even if they aren't the money men behind this attack, between fracking and renewable energy we don't need this barbaric society for our gas anymore. Time we put them in the same column as Kim Jong Un and treat them like the enemies of civilization that they are."

    .

How much money was necessary to accomplish this attack ? It sounds like it would not have required much money. It appears a vehicle, which may have been
stolen, and some sort of knives were used. It doesn't sound like a big-budget operation.

    .

The thing an intelligent person ( not you, obviously ) may want to consider is what exactly MOTIVATES these people who do these awful things ? Are the UK and the US and their allies really innocent victims or is there more to the story. Perhaps some of these people are from countries which have been invaded by the US and its
allies. Invading countries and killing the people who live in those countries is not likely to make the people who live in the countries which were invaded feel friendly toward the invaders. I live in the US, and I can tell you that if some other country invaded the US and killed people I love, revenge would be a high priority for me.

    .

This stuff doesn't happen in a vacuum, and only a dumb shit thinks the people who do this evil shit have no reasons for doing it. Sure, the US and UK governments want their citizens to believe the US and UK are squeaky clean and utterly without blame, but the truth is that this is not the case. The US is involved in literally dozens of warlike actions around the world right now, some of which are covert and won't be featured on TV, but you had better believe that the people who live in the countries which are the recipients of hostile acts by the US and its allies are going to notice what's going on.

    .

The truth is not what governments tell you. The truth is what is actually happening. Only a fool would imagine the Islamic extremists just arbitrarily decided to
attack people in other countries. It is much more likely that the truth involves a series of events which are of the "stimulus - response" variety. In other words,
one entity does something and the other entity responds.

    .

Bottom line : violence solves nothing but does lead to more violence. And governments don't give a fuck about this because the government personnel who are
responsible for this shit are never personally at risk. Only chumps get shot, or blown up, etc. Those responsible sit in comfortable air-conditioned rooms and discuss
the evil shit they convinced others to do.

    .

If you haven't watched the film "The Fog of War" yet, I urge you to do so at the first available opportunity. You will come away with a new view of the world.

So fucking easy for these clods to explain.

    >The thing an intelligent person ( not you, obviously ) may want to consider is what exactly MOTIVATES these people who do these awful things ?

Going on to blame the US & UK for inciting them in the first place. Which might make sense if the Muslims were limiting their attacks to these two countries, instead of practically every country on fucking Earth, including their own when they can't get anyone else. Friend, enemy, neutral... they fucking blow themselves up in ALL OF THEM.

Kindly explain the concert bomber who was a second generation refugee, contributed nothing to society, and lived off the taxes paid by UK citizens. That fucker was wearing a $400.00+ pair of sneakers. Oh I'm so deprived and the UK is treating me horribly, oh woe is me.

This is right, that's why you kill the adults, rape the women, make eunuchs of the young. Guess whose modus operandi this is?

Yes this is the low-tech equivalent of remote drone attacks and cruise missiles.
