From Reuters:

A Pakistani counter-terrorism court has sentenced to death a man who allegedly committed blasphemy on Facebook, a government prosecutor said on Sunday, the first time someone has been handed the death penalty for blaspheming on social media.

[...] Shafiq Qureshi, public prosecutor in Bahawalpur, about 500km (300 miles) south of provincial capital Lahore, said Raza was convicted for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Prophet Mohammad, his wives and companions.

"An anti terrorism court of Bahawalpur has awarded him the death sentence," Qureshi told Reuters." It is the first ever death sentence in a case that involves social media."

Meanwhile, Aristarchus has demonstrated no understanding of Islam - crotchety or otherwise.

Try reading about Islam. http://canadafreepress.com/article/islam-is-not-a-religion-it-is-foreign-law [canadafreepress.com]

"Yes, everyone in America has the right to freedom of religion, but Islam is not a religion. Religious faith is only a part of Islam. The rest is a socially engineered society with its own laws and customs that seriously conflict with American law."

"We must recognize that religion is only one aspect of Islam‘s Qur’an. The rest of this charter advances ideas, social behavior, and laws that are in direct conflict with American and western laws and values. Teddy Roosevelt once said that to live in America, immigrants must have undivided loyalty to America and to no one else. How is that possible for Muslims who swear loyalty to Islam where their governing laws are found in the Qur‘an?"

You may double down on the progressive posiiton that Islam is just another religion, and that you must be tolerant - or you may actually study Islam, to see how compatible it is with western society.

Don't be silly. Aristarchus won't do either of those, while there are little boy's asses to study. But, don't call him a faggot or a pedo because those terms are politically incorrect.

"Study", hmm, I think that Runaway has a rather unique definition of this activity.

Terrorism is a tactic, not a religion, and it has been employed in the past 150 years by Muslims, Jews, anarchists, communists, Christians and Buddhists, all of whom were to some extent motivated by their beliefs. Yet there is a persistent belief in the west today that Islam has some unique and visceral connection to violence and intolerance that no other faith approaches. This is wrong in theory and untruthful as to the facts. It tends also to conceal the real damage that some interpretations of Islam can do to the lives of believers, and of unbelievers too.

The Guardian [theguardian.com] You might study this article, Runaway, if you are interested in realizing just how used you are.

You and The Guardian are still operating under the illusion that Islam is a religion. Islam is a totalitarian regime, that covers politics, law, marital relations, business relations - everything. Everything.
