The US Supreme Court has partially lifted an injunction against President Donald Trump's travel ban.

The Supreme Court said in Monday's ruling: "In practical terms, this means that [the executive order] may not be enforced against foreign nationals who have a credible claim of a bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States.

"All other foreign nationals are subject to the provisions of [the executive order]."

Mark this down as a win for Donald Trump. The path to entry into the US for immigrants and refugees from the affected nations, if they don't have existing ties to the US - either through family, schools or employment - just became considerably harder.

The decision marks a reaffirmation of the sweeping powers the president has traditionally been granted by the courts in areas of national security. There was fear in some quarters that the administration's ham-fisted implementation of its immigration policy could do lasting damage to the president's prerogatives. That appears not to be the case.

I think everyone arguing for unrestricted immigration...

No one is arguing for unrestricted immigration. They are arguing against blacklisting entire nations because a few loonies committed terrorism. It won't do anything to stop terrorism and is nothing more than fear mongering and pandering to ignorant scaredy cats like you. Security theater at its finest. We have close to 16,000 people murdered in the USA per year. Mostly all by non-muslim CITIZENS. So excuse me if I don't buy into the fear mongering bullshit.

...should be forced to take a Muslim home.

How would that change their mind? I know a few and they are all regular people. Their food is pretty damn good too. I thank Allah for their delicious chicken and rice carts/stores.

They would probably be in Sane pretty quickly!

How about you go live with a muslim and watch how quickly they are repulsed by your narrow mindedness and lack of compassion. Would do you some good to step out of your tiny reality bubble.

This is part of the problem: Pew Poll: 42% of Muslim Youth in France ALWAYS Support Suicide ... [thegatewaypundit.com] The problem is that terrorism is just a indicator on top of the iceberg. There is essentially a lot of problems with Muslims and no significant upside. Too many mosques and "schools" works as a tools for indoctrination that will only end with armed conflict.
(warning for a really bloody picture from the massacre at the Bataclan concert hall in 2015)

Only a few loonies commit terrorism now. But they increase as a percentage over time and they above all have passive and active support in their own communities. Besides there's no reason to permit them into the country.

Hey, I'd be O.K. with a travel ban on Oklahoma, after that whole McVeigh business that should be ample grounds, right? How about Osama's home country, lots of al Queda in there too, gotta nip that problem in the bud before it can happen again, etc. etc. etc.

No. There are people who do argue for unfettered immigration. The search terms you want are 'open borders.'

If this isn't the most GENERIC response to open borders I don't know what is. *I* haven't been stabbed. *I* haven't been robbed. *I* haven't experienced anything bad, *I* don't know who these people are who have. *I'm* so progressive, read my social media, I'm a beacon of light and tolerance.

And for those of us that can see beyond the tip of our nose and read news from across the ocean we see a pattern. A pattern that every single country, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, that has accepted the flood has had a rise in violent crime and "brutal" rapes. Sweden, the "most tolerant", is the rape capital of Europe and very high on the world's list. Sweden is set to be a 3rd world country by 2030. Fucking Sweden! Germany has such a rape epidemic that they no longer write down the ethnicity of the attacker because it's "racist" (imagine how many are caught then). The guy who had the "sexual emergency" and raped the child, and the blew my brain out the back of my head when I read this, the supreme court overturned the conviction saying the child could have "consented" (seriously look this one up for yourself).

The issue isn't just the refugees themselves (more accurately economic migrants according to UN laws), it's all the apologists like you. Giving them a pass to assault/steal/rape as it's their "culture" and allowing their "religion" in our schools after we finally got christianity out.

Keep watching your comedy-news and pretend you have a clue what's going on in the world.

I thought it was consensual! Did you not want me all up in you? Well, you certainly should have said something! And now you are using our love to plaster a whole group of people fleeing for their lives from certain death? Well, you are certainly not who you presented yourself as when you first tried to seduce me! If I had known you were an alt-right skinhead, I never would have fucked you.
