One of my friends showed me the Black Macarena dance, which is a lot like the regular Macarena dance except that it ends with the dancer face-down on the ground with their hands behind their back.
The Macarena is mindlessly goofy, but it doesn't produce the same kind of wincing reaction that Achy Breaky Heart does.
(You know you were from a rural town in the early 1990s if most of the audience at local festivals could perform the "Achy Breaky Heart" line-dance almost flawlessly after a night of drinking.)
