In a shift from a mere couple of years ago, when a majority of Republican-Americans thought that higher education was a good thing, the majority of them now believe the opposite.

A Pew Research Center survey published Monday revealed voters have grown apart in their support of secondary education since the 2016 presidential election season, when a majority of Democratic and Republican Americans agreed the nation’s universities serve as a benefit for the U.S. Whereas 54 percent of Republicans said "colleges and universities had a positive impact on the way things were going in the country" in 2015, the majority now believe the opposite, with 58 percent saying such institutions negatively impact the state of the union.

Seriously! The Rethuglicans are not only the party of Unser Drumpfenfurher, but they champion ignorance and idiocy at every turn! Thinking about this fills me with rage, it's hard to keep myself from shaking sometimes thinking about how much these rural and suburban idiots want to undermine even the basic human ability to reason. The fact that we, the people, have to put up with this is beyond comprehension. How is this even possible? May the Gods put an end to our pain soon. I don't know how much longer humanity can take affronts like this without collapsing entirely...

The fact that we, the people, have to put up with this is beyond comprehension. How is this even possible?

    Because you are not thinking.
If you'd be doing it, you'd see that the "us vs them" is not your idea; and maybe start understanding something from what has happened to your mind from outside (instead of you making it happen) and how to rollback the common-sense into things, at least those thing shappening in your head.

(If you don't get my hint, here, I'm spewing it directly: as incredible as it may be seen, you are no better than "these rural and suburban idiots", you've been conned all the same. The only difference, you and them have been conned by two different conpeople).

While you are of course correct in that the GP has been conned just as much as those he despises, am I not at all convinced that it is by a different group of conpeople. The whole us vs them narrative is much too useful to the 1%* on both of the alleged sides.

      * I also don't think '1%' is an accurate label for that group. I think it is much closer to 0.01%.

Allow me to ask: does it matter if they are the same or different?
'Cause, if you want to heal, you aren't going to simply eliminate them physically and all the problem will be gone, You'll have to eliminate their ideas from your mind to neutralize them. Otherwise, their poison will persist in spite of getting rid of them.

Until you aren't going to see the humans in Reps or Dems and recognize you aren't that far one from another, there's nothing you'll be able to do to help yourselves. You'll just waste yourselves.

This is very wise. We have to unmake their structures in our own hearts and minds or we will re-create them recursively until our ruin.

I have no idea what Steps 2+ are, but I am pretty darn sure Step 1 is to stop picking fights with our fellow citizens using words others have put in our mouths.

We're talking about a measurable difference between two groups of people, though.

One group supports education and the other thinks it's ruining America. That's not a con, it's just reality.

        That's not a con, it's just reality.

The reality is that you still continue to be blind and driven in your "thinking" process.

E.g. "One group supports education" - really? Really, really?
You mean, the other side have not a shadow of a point when saying your education is bullshit and you should be able to do better?
Even when the reality shows you other countries are doing much better in regards with education, in both results and costs to achieve them?

Or maybe that side which "support education" is actually peddling money into the hands of campus administrators, to build sport facilities and continue to pay the professors a pittance. All from the pocket of your next generations.

The funny thing is, you'd be literally killed if your desired plans were allowed to come to fruition. Here, you need some education to reduce your ignorance and idiocy and to help you reason:

You said "the Gods", which is blasphemy under Islam. The punishment is death, and yes there are countries that would literally kill you for posting that.

Simple math -- OK, maybe 8th grade algebra -- says that a group with a higher birthrate will dominate. Liberals are far below 2 kids per womyn. Maybe it's just 1. American conservatives are somewhere around 2, which might be barely enough. Muslim immigrants are far above that, plus you want to welcome them by the millions.

So you let them in ("No Muslim ban!!! REEEEEEE!!!") and soon they come to dominate. They vote as a block. They pass laws. They pass more laws. Soon enough, your head is getting chopped off, right here in America.

This country isn't permanently irrevocably a modern place with civil rights and freedom. Your actions hasten the end.

With conservatives, it is always about fucking. This is why religions are aways about fucking. It is why war is all about fucking. So let's just give this up. You cannot fuck your way to victroy, and do you know why? Education. Yes, conservatives have higher birth-rates (and higher infant mortality, but we will just pass over that), but liberals teach their children, since they are illiterate bastards who can only fuck. And that means that 75% of conservative offspring become liberal. Around 11% become gay! So only a small residual remain what it was that their redneck racist progenitors wanted them to be, and they usually kill themselves in alcohol related automobile incidents. So admit it, you scum-sucking, yellow-bellied Trump voter, we will defeat you, and the immigrant's children will join us as well. You said you wanted your country back? Well, fuck you, it's not your country, you fucking racist bastard of unspeakable misconjugation!
