In a shift from a mere couple of years ago, when a majority of Republican-Americans thought that higher education was a good thing, the majority of them now believe the opposite.
A Pew Research Center survey published Monday revealed voters have grown apart in their support of secondary education since the 2016 presidential election season, when a majority of Democratic and Republican Americans agreed the nation’s universities serve as a benefit for the U.S. Whereas 54 percent of Republicans said "colleges and universities had a positive impact on the way things were going in the country" in 2015, the majority now believe the opposite, with 58 percent saying such institutions negatively impact the state of the union.

Allow me to ask: does it matter if they are the same or different?
'Cause, if you want to heal, you aren't going to simply eliminate them physically and all the problem will be gone, You'll have to eliminate their ideas from your mind to neutralize them. Otherwise, their poison will persist in spite of getting rid of them.
Until you aren't going to see the humans in Reps or Dems and recognize you aren't that far one from another, there's nothing you'll be able to do to help yourselves. You'll just waste yourselves.

This is very wise. We have to unmake their structures in our own hearts and minds or we will re-create them recursively until our ruin.
I have no idea what Steps 2+ are, but I am pretty darn sure Step 1 is to stop picking fights with our fellow citizens using words others have put in our mouths.
