Australian Broadcast Corporation publishes an interview with Al Gore, in which Gore says US "is going to meet the commitments of the Paris Agreement, regardless of what Donald Trump says or does".

In Australia to promote his latest film, An Inconvenient Sequel, the climate campaigner and one-time presidential candidate said Mr Trump was out of step domestically and internationally.

"The country as a whole is going to meet the commitments of the Paris Agreement, regardless of what Donald Trump says or does," Mr Gore told 7.30.

"He has isolated himself. He's not irrelevant, I won't pretend that, but it's encouraging to me that the country is moving forward without him."

Every G20 country, except the United States, recently signed a declaration to make binding the Paris climate agreement to eventually cut net emissions to zero.

Mr Gore argued it showed the rush towards renewables was unstoppable.

"There is a distinction between Donald Trump and the United States of America, especially on the climate issue," he said.

"The country as a whole is moving forward, the progress cannot be stopped.

"The economic realities have changed. The price of electricity from solar and wind and now the price declines in battery storage and the efficiency improvements of all kinds, these are economic realities that are really kicking in in a powerful way.

    The economic realities have changed.

Not really. End the subsidies and the windmills get their rotors locked and the solar stops being installed instantly. It is all uneconomical, it is only built and maintained by massive subsidy from the taxpayer. News flash: We are no longer rich enough to keep being this stupid. We can either stop of our own free will or let math do it for us. One is much more painful than the other.

And AGW theory itself is about to collapse under the weight of the lies used to build it. Gore's little empire is about to be gone. Anyone been following the lawfare between Mann and his critics? He badly miscalculated and is now about to lose bigly. When he goes down it is very likely that a judge in Canada is going to do what no American court would, force him to produce his evidence under court order. Since we already know it is a fraud, it will be a glorious day for Truth, Justice and the American Way... in a Canadian court. When Mann goes the cornerstone of the IPCC case is knocked away allowing the few remaining actual scientists to get back in to clean out the rest of the scam. When Mann goes down it will provide the opportunity for Congress to fumigate the rest of the Warmers from NASA and NWS, finally exposing the quiet manipulation of the historical climate record to prop up the Warmists.

And start making the fossil fuel industries pay to clean up their externalities and they become uneconomical.
