New artifact finds have pushed the minimum age for the arrival of humans in Australia to 65,000 years ago:
Archaeologists have found the first evidence to suggest that Aboriginal people have been in Australia for at least 65,000 years. The discovery indicates their arrival on the continent was up to 18,000 years earlier than previously thought.
It was made after sophisticated artefacts were excavated from a rock shelter in the Northern Territory. Researchers unearthed what they say are the world's oldest stone axes and ochre crayons, thought to be used for art.
The research, which has been peer-reviewed, was published in the journal Nature [DOI: 10.1038/nature22968] [DX]. It is based on findings at the Madjedbebe shelter, near Kakadu National Park.

Two centuries ago a civilisation invaded the island known today as Australia. It could have been any number of countries. The French. Dutch. Spanish. It was the English. Today Australia is a thriving nation. The abos complain and complain. They want a "treaty". They call that day that the English arrived "invasion day". They want their land back. The land that they could not defend.
Now they have aligned with muslims. They want the muslim boat people to come. They do not seem to understand that there is around 1 million abos to over 1 billion muslims. If they get their way, if muslims flood into Australia like they swarmed into Europe then they will learn thehard way. European invader or islamic arabic invaders. Take your pick.
Now they want to declare their own government separate from the European descended white people. Fine. They can do so. The millions being spent on abos can be halted. No problem.
Perhaps we should all leave. Evacuate Australia. Leave here with just one million abos left here. What happens then?
