Microsoft Paint has been marked for death:

The era of Microsoft Paint appears to be coming to an end with the upcoming release of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. The image-editing application is officially being classified by Microsoft as a "deprecated feature," as noted by The Guardian. That means that, come this fall, Paint will "not be in active development and might be removed in future releases."

I go hard in the paint.

Just a comment for the eds: seems like there is not much interest here of late in the Micro$oft Fine Articles. Paint is one example, Blizzard was another, and earlier one on dropping some older CPU architecture. They get almost no comments. Could it be, that the day has come, only it is not the Day of the Linux Desktop, but instead the Day that No One Could be Bothered to Trash Microsoft? Even the Microsoft World Domination via Rasberry Pi stirred almost no discussion.

Including yours and mine! Of course, this had to happen once I made the point. But, carry on, eds, carry on. (And, does 25 count as "plenty" now?)

Unfortunately Microsoft have had a revival from cloud business. Same business model - fleecing corporate sheep.
