According to Goldmine, the musician Graham Nash will sell a collection of Robert Crumb's Underground Comix art. It is expected to generate a lot of interest at the Heritage Comics Auction. Earlier this year an original from Crumb's Fritz the Cat sold for over $700k at an auction.

Crumb founded Zap Comix, the first successful underground comic, and is recognized for several well-known comic characters as well as his distinct style.

Ahhh, but the markets are up now and rich people have a lot of money to invest (not a good time to buy more stocks). I think this is a pretty good time to sell comix. The other good time would have been 6 months before the "Great Recession" and the housing bubble crash ~10 years ago.

I'm hoping that the buyer(s) will put some of this artwork on display, would be nice to see the original work sometime.

I have a full set of the Fritz the Cat comics, bought new when new. I treasure them. :)
