Daniel Kammen, a renewable energy expert appointed last year as a science envoy to the State Department, resigned Wednesday, citing President Trump's response to the violence in Charlottesville as the final straw that led to his departure.

Kind of makes you wonder, you know, what kind of President could provoke a science envoy to the State department to resign. But not far to look! As Kammen goes on:

In a resignation letter posted to Twitter, Kammen wrote that Trump's remarks about the racial violence in Virginia had attacked "core values of the United States" and that it would have "domestic and international ramifications."

Even American scientists have ethics, and will not serve violent racist regimes, like Nazi Germany. So there is that.

But the most interesting thing, is the encryption:

However, his most biting message may have come in the form of a hidden acrostic: The first letter of each paragraph spelled out I-M-P-E-A-C-H.

1 person doesn't equal a full side. Had all the white supremacists charged the other group and tried to shoot or club them to death (remember lots of people had weapons) then your argument would have a point. But it was only one person who killed another. Tons of people on both sides were they simply to fight each other. That's why groups have rallies at the same time, so you can overpower the people you don't like. Two groups screaming at each other never gets your message across. Anyone going to counter-rallies happening at the same time as the other rally should be held partially to blame for whatever happens.

Too many people have lost all sense of scale.

Don't even get me started on all the anti-haters hating haters.

Yet only one of those sides was on yelling on the Internet, MSM, and to anybody that would listen that they would, "kill all those people if they had to".

I'm no fan of BLM and AntiFa, but the moral equiavalency bullshit has to stop. One side are a bunch of young foolish protesters with some good causes under their belts corrupted by stupidity, intolerance, and an astounding level of ignorance about free speech, our history, or the value of our history and heritage. The other side has been gathering like this for well over 100 years, and deaths WERE COMMON. Need I remind you about the lynchings in the South? Yes, the "left" massively piss me off with their stupidity of not letting Milo speak and giving a reenactment of the Lord of the Flies for all us to watch. That being said, they're not possessing of a very bloody, angry, and storied history of intimidating and killing niggers because they're allegedly inferior, and that's their own words.

The White Supremacy movement that came to Charleston, came there fully well knowing there was going to be violence, and claimed many times they would commit murder during the proceedings. Say what you will about the left, but I've not received any phamplets, notices, email chains, etc. going on and on about how we were going to show up to the protest ready to kill White Supremacists. Again, this is not out of character for them. Neither movement is what I would term peaceful, but sure as fuck, the White Supremacists and the KKK are anything but peaceful, and are instead of a bunch of murderous thugs, and have been for over 100 years.

Then there is moral equivalency, and then taking it further saying, "there are fine people on both sides". Nope. No there isn't. Maybe on the BLM/AntiFa side there is a foolish person helping them because they care about police reform, and they might be "fine people", but there sure as fuck are NO FINE PEOPLE on the Nazi White Supremacy side of the street. That's pants-on-head retarded to state as a fact. He massively fucked up there.

I would have had some respect from Trump if he simply came out and stated that everybody there were lawless morons and the cops should've been free to do more. Not a great statement, but at least it's not directly stating that some White Supremacists are fine people.

So all the moral equivalency people can suck my dick. One side straight up murdered somebody, and tried murdering about a dozen more, and it wasn't a shock or a surprise. White Supremacists have been murdering people in this country for so long, that some of them can state it as a career with a straight face.

Your point about showing up to counter rallies though is spot-on. I wouldn't show up to one unless the organizers were eschewing violence of any kind, prohibiting shields and weapons, were permitted, etc. and, oh...... just maybe.... the other side was not riled up retarded, violent, backwards, White Supremacist assholes. Seriously, does anybody every expect that a group of organized skin heads and Nazi fuckers are going to have a peaceful anything?

There were stupid people on all sides. Not fine people, just stupid people.

...not to mention the media's "punch a nazi" meme when Antifa are screaming "nazi" at every Trump supporter they see. I'm not surprised at Charlottesville, I'm surprised a murder didn't happen sooner. [theguardian.com]
