DirecTV is allowing at least some customers to cancel subscriptions to its Sunday Ticket package of NFL games and obtain refunds, if they cite players' national anthem protests as the reason for discontinuing service, customer service representatives said Tuesday.

Under Sunday Ticket's regular policy, refunds are not to be given once the season is underway. But the representatives said they are making exceptions this season -- which began in September -- because of the controversy over the protests, in which players kneel or link arms during the national anthem.

Spokesmen for DirecTV-parent AT&T Inc. (T) and the National Football League declined to comment.

I see the difference. What I would remind the people complaining about the snowflakes is, they're complaining about people voting with their wallets. I think they're being a bit oversensitive asking for refunds, but then again, I think the people that seek authoritarianism and blind allegiance to the state aren't that bright either. I fully support the taking of the knee, and reminding the opposition every single second that they're actually the minorities in this country. More than 3 million people didn't have their votes counted, and as a result, one half of America is going to be getting into the other half's face every second it can. To remind them that kicking, or screaming, America is going to be destroyed or evolved, but the status quo bullshit is over.

Beyond all the arguments, voting with your wallet is the only expression that matters period. I exercise it on a daily basis and I fully applaud all the people asking for refunds. They're voting, and I support the kind of voting that actually ends up representing people. I may disagree with their vote, but that's okay.

I don't think many people care about those wanting refunds, just the hypocrisy behind it.
