everybody in London is breathing toxic levels of PM2.5 particles. And the fact that the largest sources of PM2.5 particles are tires and brake dust suggests that electrification is at best only a partial answer.

We also have to drive a whole lot less.

Fortunately, London appears to be pursuing an all-of-the-above strategy when it comes to greener transportation, including electric buses to a massive investment in cycle infrastructure, the goal really does appear to be easing gridlock and rethinking how we get from one place to another.

London's cycle superhighways have already shown they can deliver 70% increases in cycling, and now Mayor Sadiq Kahn has announced an entirely new, fourth superhighway bringing segregated lanes to Southeast London for the first time.

Instead of car tire and brake dust, Londoners will be able to inhale healthier bike tire and brake dust.

Oh c'mon, it's so over the top how can you not have fun with it? I'm an environmentalist. I've been a member of the Sierra Club since college. I know renewable is the future. Climate change is occurring and we're causing it. I'm even a fan of cycling and think we should do far more of that than we do of driving because the distances most of us travel in a day are manageable and we need to get off our fat behinds anyway.

But buying in bulk is bad? The real reason cars in London are bad is because of "tire and brake dust?" We should all eat insects now because reasons? It's ridiculous.

A bike superhighway in London is an awesome infrastructure improvement. Beijing has them and they work really well and move tons of people and even cargo (cargo bikes). But the goofy language and weird reasons that site comes up with to justify them are too much.

    Oh c'mon

Sorry, it's too late for me. I've been in a burning rage of at least three red dwarf stars since cloth diapers.

      "since cloth diapers."

Well that's your problem right there. A little diaper cream will set you right.

As for the rest, it's good to laugh at goofiness. That's been one good thing about living in Brooklyn: people don't hold back. Where I grew up in the West, where people say they hate PC, they were actually the most PC. Too damn polite to ever speak their minds.
